This exclusive property is located on private acreage in the pristine Animas River Valley. Surround yourself with beautiful Aspen, Pine, and Poplar trees, while enjoying the grazing elk from your front porch. Revel in breathtaking 360-degree views. To the East, enjoy the majestic red hermosa cliffs towering above with incredible beauty. To the West, savor views of the prominent Animas Mountain. This property is situated in an apple orchard, with a tranquil pond and a private tennis court.

This private home is equipped with everything that you need. Savor the brilliant sunshine streaming through windows on the high vaulted ceilings. The barn is located in a beautiful setting with a sizable lawn, nice variety of trees, and gorgeous mountain views. We saw a fox running through the property one morning, which was neat to see. Although the temps were warm during the day, it cooled off nicely in the evenings for sleeping with the windows open. We liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the appliances in the kitchen were good quality. We always appreciate nice properties like this being pet friendly as well.

Fantastic Stay

Quaint and peaceful barn

What a great property! We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We found ourselves outside quite a bit enjoying the property and surrounding views. Inside it was stocked with everything we needed and was laid out efficiently. I think the only downside was both beds were quite squeaky- we all apparently move a lot in our sleep.

Fabulous spot

The Barn was perfect for me and my little dog. Quiet, and gives a feeling of being in the country, yet still close to town and activities. Lana and her family could not be nicer. There is clearly a reason why she is a “Premier Host.” Overall, a very comfortable stay. Looking forward to a return.

Cute, cozy and quiet!

The property is located just out of town so it was pretty quiet but it was close to anything you would need. We used the covered tennis court to practice pickle ball every morning. We used the grill almost every night. It was nice to sit on the porch, enjoy the sunrise, sunset and the trains in the distance.

Peaceful, perfect location

The Barn was the perfect property for me, my spouse, and our two pups. The grounds are so well kept, and inside we had all the comforts of home … we loved it! The views are incredible and the location was just right … just a few minutes drive into downtown Durango, but away from it all. We could see the stars at night and hear the crickets chirping. It was bliss! We will definitely seek out one of Lana‘s properties if we ever come back that way! She is an excellent hostess!
