About this property

Best of both worlds.Golf and Beach.

Elegant townhouse, very well appointed with excellent high-end furnishings on Providenciales (Provo), part of the “beautiful by nature” Turks and Caicos Islands with 230 miles of pristine white, sandy beaches and turquoise water.

The house sits alongside the 18th fairway on the well maintained 18-hole championship golf course-- twice host of the Caribbean Amateur Open.

Blue skies and sunshine, panoramic views and tropical breezes all await you at Provo golf course, where the Club House is two or three minutes’ walk from the house.

Depending upon the time of year, the Course opens from 8 AM, and the Club House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from the open, shaded terrace and lounge with panoramic views of the golf course.

The stunning Grace Bay beach, named in the World Traveler awards as “world’s leading beach” – is five minutes away. Words cannot express how beautiful this beach is--- on a good day it would be impossible to paint the colour of the ultramarine water, which is a pure delight to swim in.

The house is part of a small complex with its own well appointed, large, quiet, communal pool just a few steps away.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and there is a down stairs toilet. One bedroom has a queen double bed and the other two twin beds.

The kitchen is well equipped, with the usual amenities to keep the chores to a minimum, including full cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc.

Getting there is easy. American Airlines have two or three daily non-stop flights from Miami, and a daily flight from New York. There are also flights from Dallas, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Boston. Delta fly in from Atlanta, and Jet Blue daily (depending on the season).
Air Canada have two direct flights from Toronto, and there are direct flights on a Sunday from London on British Airways, or alternatively any day of the week in to Miami with a connecting flight to Providenciales.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a group of spectacular islands offering tranquility, beauty, wonderful diving, snorkeling and just about every conceivable water sport. Combined with this is the golf course which is always very well maintained, has an abundance of wildlife and where water is a regular feature to test your playing skills. The golf course also has facilities for tennis.

Dining out is a true culinary journey with first-class cuisine. There are a large number of excellent restaurants to choose from, and because of the size of Providenciales everywhere is near to hand.

The island also has good medical facilities. A new hospital was recently built which is very well equipped.

In short, a truly tropical paradise to enjoy, whether it is island hopping or staying on Providenciales.

A wonderful, healthy climate, where the only caution is to beware of the sun and bring plenty of lotion.

Although TCI is ideal for those who wish to unwind and recharge their batteries, there is nightlife of a sort, including casinos, a multiplex cinema and evening entertainment in most of the luxury hotels which are open to the casual visitor.

If TCI doesn't quite hit the spot, please check out our other two properties in Naples,Florida which are VRBO 381681 and VRBO 381203

tax is 11% which is added to the nightly rate

VRBO does not allow me to explain the cancellation policy properly. Once a deposit has been paid, the balance becomes due and payable on the appointed day, but if it proves necessary to cancel the booking a credit is given for 100% of the amount paid which is valid for 12 months from the date of the booking and will be credited in for against the new booking.

Why they chose this property

I was working in TCI over a period of about three years, and fell in love with the Islands and bought this property as a result.

Over the years Providenciales has become a little more built up, but the beauty of Grace Bay has not been affected in the least. You have to see it on a good day to believe it, and I defy anybody to paint the colour of the sea when it is at its best. The golf course is beautiful and challenging, with a lot of water coming in to play.

Because the Island is so small(it only has two roads,an upper and lower road) and no town centre, everything is within easy reach, and the opportunities for every kind of water-sport is readily available.

What makes this property unique

Quiet location on the golf course but a short distance from the beaches and water sport facilities. Scuba diving and snorkeling is particularly popular because of the superb waters. Communal pool rarely used by anybody, for some reason, and close proximity to the club house and local restaurants.
