Small cottage right on the beach. Very close to San Francisco - 20 min from the Golden Gate Bridge. Romantic getaway. Perfect for couples or as a quiet retreat for an individual. Wood-burning fireplaces in the living room and bedroom. Large deck and personal hot tub overlooking the ocean.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sigward’s Muir beach house. The view is stunning, and the beach a short walk down the hill. A memorable experience and highly recommended. Would absolutely stay again.

We’ve stayed here several times. It’s one of the most romantic places on the planet. It’s quiet and close to beautiful hiking and beach beaches. It’s one of those places you just wanna bring a guitar and a book and spend the whole day just watching the ocean.

We enjoyed our quiet getaway by the ocean. The large deck provided us fresh air and sunshine, much needed by these two busy parents. Great opportunity to unplug and hike the nearby trails.

Perfect retreat

Relaxing and beautiful

Such a great little get away from our hectic lives. We could unwind while sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach. We loved watching the dogs enjoy their time in the water. Very comfortable and the little inn down the road was a great place to eat. Sigward was a great host and gave us lots of information before our visit to help us enjoy this little gem!

An Amazing Property

My wife and I spent a few days at Sigward’s property to ring in the new year. Sigward was a great host, and was very detailed and quick to respond. The property has amazing views of the beach from the deck. I cannot wait to visit again!

We stayed two nights, centering on our elopement in Muir Woods. Easy beach access, ‘hidden’ jacuzzi, and breathtaking views. A perfect place for the two of us and a very gracious host! Would recommend 100%

Entrepreneur in the area of technology, communication, and environmentally and socially conscious investing. For the last few years, I have been mostly focused on supporting and investing in projects around hospice and end-of-life, companies created by and for women, and lately the clinical application of psychedelics for mental health. As an adjunct lecturer, I also teach a class on entrepreneurship and start-ups in the area of management and communication in IT at MCI, an Austrian University with affiliations to Stanford, Yale, and Cornell University.
I was born in Austria where I spend about half of the year for family reasons and because it's home. I love the ocean and was lucky to have found this place while still working in Manhattan.
