Your perfect Yellowstone Vacation Rental is Grandma’s Cabin near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Located in Island Park, Idaho, this vacation rental offers accommodations with all the comforts of home. Open all year with easy access to area activities such as fly-fishing, hiking, hunting, horseback riding, river floating. Our winter brings cross country skiing, groomed snowmobile trails, back country powder riding, ice fishing and Island Park's Wild West WinterFest & more.

Grandma’s Cabin has a spacious family room for gathering; To help you complete your visit, the cabin has travel information, road maps, hiking, skiing and snowmobile trail maps and wireless internet to help you stay connected and search while you are away from home.

The cabin features a large family room with a sectional sofa & chairs for relaxing.
Sleeping arrangements are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has three queen beds and the third bedroom has one queen bed. There are one and one half baths, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home.

Also available is a gas barbeque so you can grill up some steaks or dine al fresco in large yard with a picnic table, surrounded by lodge pole pines, blue spruce, and quaking aspen trees while enjoying your great company of family or friends.

For your convenience cabin has a washer, dryer, and TV with WI-FI internet for your streaming account use, land line telephone. There is plenty of parking space.

Fishing while at Grandma's Cabin

Had a great fishing trip out of Island Park, ID. and Grandma's Cabin was the perfect place to come home to after being on the river all day long. Very clean and cozy, plus lots of privacy in this tucked away gem. We agreed we would definitely stay here again on our next Idaho fly fishing trip.

Grandma's Cabin

Very clean, plenty of space to relax. The front yard was being reseeded, so it was inaccessible, which was fine. We realized we would have liked to be a little closer to the Yellowstone entrance once we were there. We drove 22 hours to get to Island Park and we were tired of driving:) The drive was only 30 minutes to the West Entrance, so it wasn't bad. The house had everything we needed and was very nice. I would definitely recommend this location to others. Laurie was easy to work with and very helpful in planning our stay.

Absolutely loved our time at Grandmas Cabin.

Awesome place for a small family gathering. Little cousins enjoyed playing in the yard and taking a nature hike in the forest. The cabin was well stocked and clean. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely Perfect!

We arrived at the cabin to find it totally decorated for Christmas--outside and inside. The door was unlocked, heat turned on, and we instantly felt at home. Such a wonderful place to stay. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place.

The name of the cabin says it all!! Loved it!!

what a great experience for our families. We celebrated a late Christmas and asked if Grandma's Cabin would have a tree decorated. The place was amazing!!! The little ones had room to play, the older ones were impressed with the internet speed and the parents/grandparents had everything we needed to cook our family meals and sleep comfortably. the added touch of a gift basket complete with the fixin's for sugar cookies (even cookie cutters, frosting and sprinkels) really made us feel special. Thank you for the great hospitality!!

Perfect place for us!

Grandma's Cabin was the perfect place for our party of five: grand parents, son-in-law, and two teenage grand daughters. We all loved it. The cabin is so comfortable and well equipped, and the location is beautiful. It's an easy thirty mile drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone, and it gave us versatile access to Yellowstone as well as the Tetons. It was such a cozy place to come home to each day, and Laurie was a wonderful and responsive host. The nearby Robin's Roost store (and gas station) was a surprisingly well-stocked option for picking up any groceries you might need. The cabin is also close to Harriman State Park and a scenic byway to Ashton, which added local choices (including horseback riding) for a kick-back day. We loved this cabin. If you rent it, you won't be disappointed.

Great location

We enjoyed our recent stay at Grandma's cabin and found the accomodations to be clean and convenient for our adventures through Yellowstone and the surrounding area. The cabin is very well taken care of and I would say a solid value of about $150 a night but not worth the $250 rate that is charged during the summer. The owner is great to work with and we found the transaction through VRBO to be easy and we would use the services again.

Possibly a smaller cabin or off season would have given you a better value in our area. Our cabin does sleep up to 10 people and with the amenities provided we feel it to be a great value.

Family Christmas

This was a great place to have our family Christmas getaway. The house was all lit up with Christmas lights - what a great first impression. "Cozy" was the word that everyone used to describe Grandma's Cabin. The cabin had plenty of sleeping space for all 10 of us. The kitchen was supplied very well with pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and bakeware. It was nice to have the washer and dryer there as well. The bathrooms were supplied well with plenty of towels. The internet connection was not good, but for me that was okay. It was nice to disconnect from it for a while. I would recommend Grandma's Cabin. Thank you!!

Quiet Hideaway

Grandma's cabin was cozy and very well equipped (except for a hairdryer). Our only problem was internet access not available the first night and morning we were there. The owner remedied this the second day......but we have never had any response to our exiting email inquiring as to what the problem was .......nor any word of thanks after leaving some usable food items behind. The rate seemed a bit steep for two retired seniors using only one bed on the main floor.

Bob & Lenora Thank you for your positive feed back, I appreciate all our guests and their comments. Our internet saga continues. With no real explination from verizon yet. My thought is, that it was the passing storm that caused the no service episode. I am currently expecting a technicion in the area to also determine if we are just in a low reception area causing the continued low reception. I always ask if there is anything needed at the cabin and if I have it I would be glad to bring it if I have it. I hope my response was positive to your other requests during your stay. Cute Cabin!

We were hosting a family from Germany and showing them our beautiful National Parks. When we arrived at the cabin, they were so excited! The description and photos were accurate and in fact, the cabin was even better. It's about 30 miles from West Yellowstone, but for the price difference, it worked out great! Highly recommended! Grandma's Cabin was my childhood home. We named it Grandma's Cabin after my mother, because it would never be any place but Grandma's to us.

While at Grandma's Cabin you will enjoy the secluded location and still be close to the area attractions. You will enjoy the national forest that borders our cabin. A creek that runs through the pasture, a large yard, comfortable porch to sit & relax and even catch a glimpse of deer, moose, fox and many birds.
