About this property
Lover’s Lookout is a treetop retreat / perfect for a romantic escape.
Lover’s Lookout is your private treetop retreat in the Smoky Mountains—perfect for a romantic escape.
Wake up to breathtaking views from your cozy queen bed, unwind by the fireplace or fire pit, and refresh under the heated shower. With thoughtful touches like locally made soap and coffee, plus Wi-Fi and modern comforts,
It’s just 3 miles from the Parkway, 10 minutes to downtown Waynesville, 20 minutes to Sylva, and 35 minutes to Asheville or Cherokee—close to it all, yet feeling a world away.
To reach the glamping spot, we suggest a front- or four-wheel drive vehicle. Don’t worry if you don’t have one—there’s a designated parking area along the main road for rear-wheel–drive vehicles, followed by a quick five-minute stroll in.
The tent comes fully equipped with cooking utensils, firewood, and a cozy gas fireplace. Fresh towels, linens, soap, and shampoo are provided for your comfort.
You’ll have Wi-Fi powered by the rechargeable battery pack, which also charges phones and laptops. The battery pack can be recharged by solar power or from your car while you’re out exploring.
For convenience, I provide a flashlight, and both the tent and the bathroom have built-in lighting. There’s also a gas grill for cooking and making coffee—please remember to pick up some half-and-half if you’d like it with your morning cup.
Please remember to bring your own cooler.
