About this property

Cute Country House near Nafplio

Our house is an ideal place for those who seek relaxing stay when at the same time they would like to be close to Nafplio. It lays at an estate with cottages, outside the city, which is an ideal place for relaxing vacation. It is fully equipped, it can accommodate easily up to 4 people and it provides all the amenities possible so that you will miss nothing during your stay.
The house is also pet friendly, as it has its own private garden with garden furniture and a barbecue area. Apart from that, our estate provides a small farm with animals which makes it ideal for children and families.We also have our own melon field, so that guests can come closer to the rural lifestyle and participate in rural tourism activities.

The house consists of 2 floors: ground floor and basement. It also has a big private garden.

Interaction with guests
You can meet with me at your arrival in order to give you the keys and guide you to the house . As I grew up in Nafplio, I can give you any information about the surroundings and what you can do during your stay. Generally I try to make my guests' stay as relaxing and peaceful as possible so I only come to the house when it is asked or permitted. Guests can always reach me through telephone or email.

Superb Stay

The property was great. Good air conditioning on the ground floor. Nice and cool in the basement bedroom anyway. Good location for beaches and for heading into the lovely town of Nafplio,a week as archaeological sites. Great location. Danai the host was really friendly and helpful and also respected our privacy. Would definitely stay here again! cool in the basement anyway.

Peaceful rural holiday

An attractive property with plenty of space and good kitchen facilities. Enjoyed eating out on the verandah. Also enjoyed walking up the hill to the church and seeing it lit up at night. Hosts very helpful when a storm soaked our washing that was meant to be drying on the line!

We stay at the house for a week. The location of the house is comfortable, only few moments drive from the exciting city of Nafplio. Its surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. The house is well equipped with everything needed for such stay. The welcome from the hosting family was warm and generous. they help us with every thing we ask. We enjoy the place very much.

Comfortable house, relaxing time

We loved our stay here. The house is very comfortable and was great since our daughter had her own space downstairs to chill and sleep. The outdoor spaces were very comfortable too. We loved having the dog and cat come over to visit and seeing the other animals. It was a very relaxing place for us to stay. Away from the busy Nafplio but close enough to easily visit there and to go to Epidauros, Mycenae, and Corinth. The family were very welcoming for us and available to answer questions when needed. We loved all of it!

Quiet house in orange grove

Located about 10 minutes by car from Nafplio, Danai's house, nestled in a small development within an orange grove, offers comfort and quiet in a picturesque area of the Peloponnese. Danai is a helpful, accommodating hostess who gave us farm-fresh eggs and the latest information on a local wine festival.

Peaceful, cozy and well-located!

This peaceful property is perfectly located to visit Mycenae and Epidavros among other Peloponnese sites. The home is well-equipped for preparing meals, the village close by with groceries and a butcher. The air conditioning was very efficient. We didn’t meet Danai but her brother was there to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and delicious jams gifted to us. The verandah is cool and lovely to eat dinner or relax over morning coffee. Laundry was a bonus at this point of our trip! We highly recommend this property!

This was the quiet break we needed after staying in downtown Athens. 10 minutes from Nafplion, it is close to everything we wanted to see. The host was so fabulous and accommodating! We had some issues and she came to our rescue. 💕💕 Highly recommend this for a relaxing retreat next to an olive orchard! And chickens and bunnies. And pomegranates. And the greatest three dogs that are friendly.

Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch an sehr heißen Tagen gab es genug Schatten. Alles ist gut ausgestattet, bequeme Betten, große Schränke, und eine Mappe mit Anregungen für Ausflüge. Danai ist eine tolle Gastgeberein! Vielen Dank für alles!

Sehr schönes ruhiges Haus

Wir wurden sehr angenehm und unkompliziert von der Vermieterin empfangen. Bei Fragen und wünschen stand sie immer zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist schon mit einige Sachen ausgestattet, wie Seife, Shampoo, Spülmittel und auch Sachen wie Kaffee, Zucker, Salz & Pfeffer und Öl waren bereits vorhanden. Das Haus war sehr sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung. An den Fenstern waren Jalousien und Fliegengitter, was sehr gut war. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, im nächsten Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Laden, einen Fleischer und einen Bäcker. Nafplio ist einen schöne Stadt, und auch andere Sehenswürdigkeiten ließen sich von hier gut erkunden. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Rural peace minutes from pretty holiday town

Lovely, comfortable house which has all you need for a self-catering holiday. A short, easy drive from the tourist town of Napflio and an easy walk from the village of Nea Tirintha which has a butchers as well as a mini market/bakery. The huge semi-basement (much nicer than that sounds) room makes it ideal for 2 couples or families with older children who want their own space. The covered terrace which wraps round the house keeps the heat from direct sunlight away, while the private garden and hammock provide space to soak up the rays should you wish. Although we did not meet Danai she was always easy to contact via phone or text, while other members of her family were friendly and very helpful - including bringing us paraffin lamps when the area was affected by a power cut. Their 3 dogs were also very friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Perfect little country house

This is a great house in a fabulous location- perfect to visit Mycenae, Epidavros, Tyrins and all the other surrounding sites. Easy access to everything. 5 minutes from Napflio. House is well set up with everything you might need and super comfortable. Danai the property owner is absolutely wonderful - she brought us jams and fresh eggs. She was super helpful with recommendations and overall a super host. We loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Danai, our host, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Her guest house is immaculate. Not one necessity has been overlooked. Her father even brought us fresh figs one more. Far, far more interesting and enjoyable than a hotel in Napflio, which is less than ten minutes away. All around perfect.

sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Sehr schönes Haus mit toller, schattiger Terrasse. Das große Zimmer im Untergeschoss bleibt auch an heißen Tagen immer schön kühl. Sehr schön, ruhig gelegen; wenige Minuten Autofahrt nach Nafplio. Es ist ausreichend Platz in den Schränken. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Lediglich in dem kleinen Bad könnte man für mehrere Personen vielleicht noch zwei Handtuchhaken oder eine Handtuchstange anbringen. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison : notre hôte est vraiment très sympa, elle a montré ses animaux aux enfants, ravis, et nous avait laissé des prunes et des petites confitures maison! La maison, située dans une sorte de résidence privée avec d'autres maisons similaires, à la campagne est très agréable ; grand confort, terrasse pour manger dehors, et la présence du chat qui a ravi nos enfants. La maison est à 10mn de Nauplie qui est une très jolie ville. Nous vous conseillons vraiment cette maison!!

Schöne Unterkunft mit großen Garten

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, 1 Hund) waren auf unserer Rundreise über die Peloponnes eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Ferienhaus war groß, sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Vermieter, welche gleich auf dem Nachbargrundstück wohnen, sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Gelände um das Ferienhaus ist umzäunt und gepflegt. Ein Auto ist aufgrund der Lage unbedingt erforderlich, steht aber auch so im Inserat. Die Umgebung des Ferienhauses außerhalb des umzäunten Geländes hat nicht viel zu bieten und ist leider etwas zugemüllt. Nafplio ist mit dem Auto aber schnell zu erreichen, bietet eine schöne Altstadt zum bummeln, einkaufen und essen. Um Nafplio herum gibt es auch ein paar gute Bademöglichkeiten. Was man allgemein bei allen Ferienhäusern auf der Peloponnes berichten muss ist, dass es in der Umgebung viele kläffende Hunde gibt, was den eigenen Hund des öfteren dazu verleitet hat, etwas mitzubellen. Nochmals danke für die schöne Zeit!

Nafplios paradise !

Nous avons passé plus de 2 semaines en famille dans cette location et tout était parfait. Propre, fonctionnelle, ,climatisée, une belle terrasse et un grand jardin au clame et sans vis à vis. La location est à la "campagne" mais à 5 min montre en main du centre ville en voiture où il est très facile de se garer. Les propriétaires habitent la maison voisine. Ils sont discrets mais aux petits soins et adorable (confiture maison à l'arrivée, gâteau maison, et petit cadeau de départ) Bref, on a passé un super séjour en profitant de l'animation de Nauplie, des belles plages environnantes (10 min), des sites historiques proches et de cette belle location.

Gerne einmal wieder

Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Danai ist sehr nett, freundlich und bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Auch ihre Eltern helfen dabei mit. Gleich bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit frischen Feigen begrüßt. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Lage ist hervorragend – beim Haus ist es sehr ruhig, gerade richtig für einen ruhigen Urlaub, aber das wunderhübsche Städtchen Nafplio ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Auch viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe. Wenn wir wieder nach Griechenland kommen, werden wir gerne wieder dieses Haus buchen!

Welcome to our home! My name is Danai and I am native Greek. I grew up in the beautiful city of Nafplio and I have lived for many years in Athens. I love traveling, I have lived in many countries abroad like Spain and Indonesia and meeting new people from several countries and cultures is something that fascinates me. My first thought when we created these independent fully equipped houses, was to create a small paradise where people would feel like home with all privacy and relaxation they need in the countryside but at the meantime help them enjoy their stay and make it as unique as possible, with wonderful suggestions of activities in our area. I will make sure that you feel comfortable and have a wonderful stay! If you have any question, do not hesitate to ask me.

Our Country Houses were created in an effort to bring visitors close to nature, inspired by the small cottages which were built near the village peasants in their fields.Here, you can enjoy a peaceful stay in a beautiful countryside environment surrounded by olive and orange trees and at the same time be very close to the city of Nafplio.It is a place ideal for children, as we have a little farm with chickens, rabbits and turkeys which they can feed and play. Also, ideal for pets which can run around the private garden of each house.Depending on the season, our guests can enjoy free fruits and vegetables from our garden and eggs from our chickens.Each house has a fully equipped kitchen where all necessary is available for free (salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, tea).As part of the countryside experience, you can also enjoy homemade jams, cakes and cookies. -Cleanliness is our top priority. For the cleaning of the house we use products suggested by WHO (World Health Organization) for all parts of the house and the linen and towels are cleaned by professional laundry in high temperature and with top quality products.
-Quality sleep with high quality mattresses. The house is comfortable, spacious, fully equipped with all necessary. We provide cotton bed linen and towels for a great sleeping experience.
-Great Location, easily accessible by car from Athens. It is close to nature and at the same time close to monuments like Epidavros and Mycenae. Also close to the sea and ideal beaches. Great basis for visits to many places around Peloponnese.
