About this property
The Forest Estate Cabin in Mount Vernon WA
The Forest Estate Cabin is a small private cabin in the woods that sits on 24 acres of a privately gated property. Guests will have access to the land below where the cabin is located. Owners privacy is appreciated. Guests are able to walk the trails on property and visit the ponds, lake and river. Fishing is allowed at the Little Lake, but does require proper fishing attire such as waders. Fishing gear is not included in the rental. RV parking available. This property also serves as a luxury small boutique boarding house for 6/8 dogs a week, so dog barking may be heard in the distance. If you are guests with pups, there are dog waste stations throughout the property for proper dog waste disposal. The cabin’s bathroom is just a few steps away in its own private bathhouse, designed with a spa-like feel. The indoor bathhouse includes a soaking tub with a handheld shower head. Please note there is no indoor walk-in shower other than the outdoor shower. The bath house has a bath tub with handheld shower head. Escape into a world of peace, nature, and wonder at The Sacred Woods — a hidden gem nestled at the base of the majestic Cascade Mountains. This intimate, dog-friendly cabin is designed for two souls seeking serenity, reconnection, and a touch of magic.
Step outside your door into a dreamlike landscape: lush gardens, quiet sitting areas, a natural lake-pond with tranquil fountains, and breathtaking oversized sculptures of dragonflies, butterflies, and spiders — art and earth entwined.
🛁 Soak under the stars in the private hot tub.
🪵 Lounge on the pond deck and listen to frogs, wind, and birdsong.
Inside, the cabin is cozy, yet complete — equipped kitchen with nespresso coffee maker, drip coffee maker, mini fridge, toaster oven, small induction cook top, comfortable queen bed, and a private bathroom. Every element is crafted to ground, calm, and inspire.
Whether you’re sipping tea in the garden, writing in your journal beside the pond, or stargazing from the tub with your partner (or pup) by your side — The Forest Estate is a sanctuary for rest and reconnection.
