We absolutely loved this place! It was so convenient being on the bottom floor. Also beach towels, chairs, toys, and umbrella was included in the unit which was a huge savor on packing.

The perfect place for a family vacation. The location was excellent with a beautiful porch and short walk right on to the beach. The unit was spacious, well appointed, clean and supplied with everything you could need so it immediately felt like home and a wonderful place to relax and make memories. From a griddle for pancakes to board games to beach chairs and towels, they thoughtfully pulled together a wonderful turnkey experience.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly gracious and allowed us to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, which was greatly appreciated.The condo was even bigger than the photos suggested and had plenty of room for our family. The large balcony was a favorite feature, and the beach access was unbeatable—just steps away via the boardwalk.The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, beach toys, and a fully equipped kitchen. Having complimentary beach chair service was another fantastic perk that made our beach days even more enjoyable.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

Fabulous property! We enjoyed every minute. The beach view and sound of ocean waves from the covered patio was the perfect coffee and breakfast spot. Time at the beach was wonderful. Comfy bedrooms and wonderful hosts. So much to do and lots of great restaurants. Met so many great people. Sunset dolphin tour highly recommended. Can’t wait to return.

Wow, this condo was beautiful and super clean. The patio was amazing, very large with doors from the living room and master bedroom to the beachfront patio.The owners are super responsive, and their renovations were wonderful. We loved the location and the condo layout. It never felt crowded. The grounds were also super clean and the pool was very nice. My only side note is that the patio access to the beachfront ramp doesn’t have a sidewalk or smooth path and the ramp has stairs on one side. Not a showstopper for our family by any means, but wanted to share in case that is a concern for others. Overall we loved it and would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

Family vacation

We always enjoy our stay here! Fabulous location with any and everything you need! Hosts are so very accommodating and even let us check in early. This is our 3rd time here and we will be back as long as she’ll have us!

Property is in a perfect location and just steps away from the beach. We loved that it is a smaller complex so it wasn't so crowded in the parking lot and on the beach. Chair setup was great! Easy access to condo and no elevator needed which we loved! Condo had everything we needed and then some and it was very clean. Owners very responsive to questions we had. Highly recommend this property for a great beach vacation!

Youngest graduated HS...we are going to the beach!

Great beach access. Appreciated having beach set up included. Kitchen had everything needed. We were able to pack light because of washer/dryer in condo.Only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

Paradise in Florida!

We had a wonderful vacation and loved this property! We loved the distance to the beach as well as the amazing view. The condo was stocked with high-end towels and the bedding was comfortable. We hope to be back! Thank you Ronda!

First family vacation

Pictures don't do this condo justice. Everything you could possibly need is provided to use and literally walk out to the beach with the whitest sand. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Convenience and Location

Really amazing place. We wanted to book again as soon as we left! Thank you Ronda and Lisa. We had a mix up at check in and some slow response times but other than that everything was smooth and our stay was magical! Well equipped, beautiful space. Enjoyed coffee on the porch in the early morning watching the beach come alive. Can’t wait to be back!

The good: clean and comfortable for most of us. Nice deck with very nice patio furniture. Very convenient access to beach. The kitchen had plenty of glasses, dishes, utensils, and cookware.The bad (and reason for my low rating): when we booked, the listing described the sofa in the living room as suitable for 2 adults to sleep on. It was not suitable for anyone to sleep on - too narrow and too slippery with a sheet. We needed 3 separate sleeping areas so one of our party was pretty miserable trying not to fall off the sofa at night. There were only 3 beach towels for our party of 5, and there was only 1 cheapo beachchair that was useable. That left us with a total of 3 chairs (including beach service). No shower soap or dishwasher detergent despite being told to run the dishwasher when checking out - had the dishes in the cabinets actually been washed with detergent? Only 1 kitchen towel. No extra paper towels or trashbags. Minimal TP. This was the worst stocked vacation rental we've stayed at in many years. I could have brought extras of all those things (and beach chairs) if the host had only indicated to bring extras - as some do. The host also has a lot of rules, but there isn't a physical copy in the rental - so the primary renter has to communicate all the rules to everyone else in the group. We did not complete all the checkout cleaning tasks(!!!) due to notice that exterminator would be entering an hour before checkout.

The living room has an oversized sectional that has slept guests for the past four plus years with not one complaint. I myself have slept on it several times and was very comfortable. I understand it may not meet everyone's sleeping needs. I would recommend getting a three bedroom for those needing more adequate sleeping arrangements. Our website states that we provide "starter supplies" of the items mentioned in the review such as, TP, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I will make sure housekeeping is aware of this review to make sure the items are provided as advertised. I always encourage our guests to let me know if there is a problem with their stay so I can take care of it immediately to make sure their stay is a pleasant one. Our reviews reflect our responsiveness. However, if I don't know about it, I can't fix it. The beach toys and chairs, in the condo are items our previous guests have left. Extra setups can be rented from the beach serv. As far as the rules go, when someone books our property, I provide a copy of the condo rules along with the complex's rules in the confirmation e-mail and also with the check-in details e-mail, so people can print this information out or show to the other guests. I hate that this guest feels like they had a bad experience. We try very hard to please all our guests, I believe our reviews over the past seven years reflects our desire to make your experience a great one.

This condo is perfect. It provides everything you need for a great vacation. The location of the condo is so close to the beach from the back patio. The beach service was a great addition. The pool is so close to the front door. We will definitely be coming back!

I normally don't do reviews but I thought they deserve one. The condo was the nicest one we have stayed in in 20 years of going. Very clean. All nice indoor and outdoor furniture. Had all fairly new kitchen furnishings. About anything you needed was there. Only complaint was we had 3 swimming trunks and one beach towel stolen off the back deck. I would definitely recommend staying at this location. If we go back to Fort Walton we will probably stay at this condo.

It’s all in the details!!

What a great stay at Sandy Thongs! Great location with an easy first floor walk out to the beach and less then a mile to anything you might need. The beauty was in the details- high end touches - furniture, beds, patio furniture- area to hose off on the patio. Things like a California king bed for a tall family and a spare room with larger then twin beds - again - tall family. Rooms are very spacious. Finishes are well thought out and the kitchen is fully operational. Extra beach chairs and beach towels, toys and even sippy cups for the littlest vacationer. Starter items like coffee filters and TP and paper towels and a few snacks - these details really made the difference. We would absolutely recommend and stay again! Thank you Rhonda and family!!
