Great location to get away from the summer heat. But there were not enough options to keep us occupied for a full week. 5 days would have been better for a family of 4 adults. There was hiking in Dolly Sods, a chairlift ride at Canaan Valley State Park, and some interesting shops, distilleries, and breweries in Davis and Thomas. Be aware that this property is next to the large gated community that has the lakes, kayaking, etc. but you do not have access. You can not even walk into the community as the gated is guarded 24/7.

Overall was a nice place very close to the mountain. Says it sleeps 10 but only 3 bedrooms. 2 rooms with 2 beds and bottom room a king bed.

Perfect location and accommodations for our bike trip

The property was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was much appreciate since we were tired and sore after our daily bike rides in the mountains :)

What a wonderful time we had from walking trails, shopping, and the boys fishing.

The house was wonderful, but we all agreed that having a bathroom for all the bedrooms was the best. The beds were comfortable and the large dining room table led for great game evenings.

Great house. Clean. One minor hiccup, the hot water ran out after 1 shower. So our group had to space out our showers.

Very clean and comfortable, good location

Stayed here during a large snowstorm. The driveway and street were plowed multiple times per day. The garage came in very handy for keeping the car sheltered as well as our snowboards. Everything in the house is very well maintained, and the house was not beaten up at all. Many properties here have worn out carpet, but this house was in great shape. It's a flat 10 minute walk to the lodge. I would have given it 5 stars if it was a little closer.

Great Time

All the kids and adults had a wonderful time. Kids had the best time when the electric went out due to a cut in the electric line. They played charades and hide and go seek in the dark. The twins enjoyed playing cards in the dark by the fireplace. Hiking and shopping in the rain just made it more fun. The house was clean and well maintained. We had stayed there two years ago also and we could not wait to go back.
