The Santa Rosa Mountains frame every sunset from this west-facing PGA West retreat, their silhouettes deepening to violet as the fairway below catches the last of the day`s light. Mornings out here are still and golden - coffee in hand, wide desert sky overhead, and nothing on the agenda but deciding whether to start at the pool or the patio. Inside a guard-gated community on the Nicklaus Private course, this is the kind of place where the pace shifts the moment you arrive.


The home
A sunny courtyard welcomes you at the entrance, where a separate casita sits alongside the main house. Inside, an open living and dining layout keeps the group connected - a comfortable seating arrangement anchors the living room with a TV, while a nearby sitting area and wet bar add another layer of space to gather. Sliding doors open directly to the backyard, blurring the line between indoors and out throughout the day.


Sleeping arrangements
The home sleeps up to 8 guests across four bedrooms, each with a TV, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, room-darkening shades, and clothing storage.

The primary suite features a king bed and an oversized ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, jetted bathtub, and dual sinks. Bedroom 2 offers a king bed with an ensuite full bath. Bedroom 3 includes a king bed and an ensuite full bath. Bedroom 4, located in the private casita, has a queen bed and an ensuite bath.


Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is built for real cooking - stainless steel appliances, a 6-burner gas range, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a dining table for the group. Coffee is covered from multiple angles with a drip coffee maker, espresso machine, and Keurig. Cooking basics, dishes, wine glasses, a blender, toaster, and baking sheet round out a well-stocked space. The kitchen flows directly into the living and dining areas, so conversations carry easily from prep to the table.


Outdoor living
The fully fenced private backyard is where this property earns its keep. The private outdoor pool and private hot tub are open year-round, 24 hours - lounge on the in-pool shelf, soak at night, or simply pull up a chair and watch the fairway. A gas BBQ grill and outdoor dining area make evening meals outside an easy ritual, while the fire pit draws everyone in once the desert air cools. A covered patio adds shaded seating for the warmer parts of the day.

Pool heating note: hot tub heat is complimentary. Pool heating to 88°F is available at $50/day (typically needed October through May - summer months the pool naturally sits between 85-95°F).


Comfort & amenities
Central air conditioning, central heating, ceiling fans, and an indoor gas fireplace keep things comfortable across every season. WiFi and a dedicated workspace are available, along with a free in-unit washer and dryer. A pack `n play/travel crib is available upon request. Free driveway parking accommodates up to 4 vehicles.


Home safety
The property includes exterior security cameras at the front door (Ring Camera), smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Self check-in is via keypad - a unique door code is issued prior to each arrival, changing with every reservation.


Location
Situated within a guard-gated community at PGA West in La Quinta, the home puts you minutes from Old Town La Quinta, the Empire Polo Grounds, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and a wide range of golf courses, dining, and shopping. Palm Springs and broader Coachella Valley destinations are within easy reach.


A few things to know
Pets are welcome with restrictions - no cats; certain non-shedding hypoallergenic dogs may be considered at an additional fee. Check-in is after 4PM and check-out is by 11AM; early check-in and late check-out may be available at no extra charge if the schedule allows. Cleaning is performed at the end of your stay, with mid-stay cleaning available for an additional fee. The property has HOA noise limit requirements - a Bluetooth speaker is recommended for outdoor music. We do not recommend shipping packages directly to the home.
