This is the second year we have rented this property we absolutely love it here the porch has 2 swings, lots of wildlife, hot tub and a pool table. We enjoyed the drive up to blue mountain to see the beautiful fall foliage and enjoyed a walk around old forge. Always a great sister trip.

Beautiful home!

This home is perfect for a weekend away with friends, a girls getaway or for winter activities. The rooms were beautiful, the yard and fire pit area are perfect for gatherings. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

Fun private getaway

This property is very private nestled in the woods, the host was super informative about his property and answered any questions or concerns i had immediately. The house is super cute very clean. The hot tub was nice and he had hanging swings on the deck that were super comfy and relaxing. Will definitely be going back we had a great time.

Perfect location and beautiful property

The house and property are perfect for a relaxing weekend. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect amenities. The location to town was so convenient. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks or canoe but next time we definitely will. Beds were comfortable and accommodating and we definitely will book again in the future. My family loved our stay here. House was beautiful and clean. Hot tub was a hit for the whole family. Location is absolutely perfect, the house is set in “the woods” but you are so close you can walk right into town. We did not see any bear but we did have the pleasure to have a few deer walk right up and graze on the ferns near the fire pit area.

What a fantastic gem in the forest

This was such a great and fun house with excellent privacy and amenities. Modern yet rustic at the same time made the style so enjoyable. The pool table, hot tub, and arcade machine provided so much fun entertainment on those rainy days. Great host with excellent communication. Definitely looking forward to staying here again. Thanks!

Nice setup and location, but missing necessities

A lot of utensils and knives are still needed for this kitchen. Coffee mugs needed. Coffee maker and Keurig did not work. We rented the house because of the hot tub and were notified the day before that it was not working and when we got there we could tell it hadn’t been working for sometime. For the price you would hope that sheets and towels and garbage removal would be included. None of the remotes worked for the TVs. It is a beautiful setting but missing a lot of necessities so it may not be worth the price for that.

Relaxing Setting

Aside from a minor issue at check-in which was handled quickly and to our satisfaction, the house was the perfect setting for a relaxing get away for our family. We loved being able to walk into Old Forge every morning to get coffee and donuts, and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the balcony. It was a great area that was quiet and perfect for relaxing and exploring the Fulton Lake Chain area. We hope to be back soon!

The house is lovely and had a nice location on a wooded lot outside of town. We felt that the couches downstairs and upstairs beds were very uncomfortable. Upstairs bathroom needs some place to put toiletries etc

Pictures don’t capture the true beauty of this property! Peaceful private out in the woods but able to walk to town. Everything you need is there including kayaks and canoe!

This house is the perfect family vacation spot! It is so relaxing and beautiful and very clean. My family and I had an amazing time making s’mores by the fire, walking in town, swimming, and enjoying the wild life. I would definitely recommend, and will be coming back again!

Great Autumn Weekend

Very well appointed, very comfortable, clean. Location; you feel as though you are in deep woods and actually, you are right around the corner from everything. We have been visitors to the area for more than 20 years; this was our first stay away from the water front and we were not disappointed. Mike's phone call before visit was most helpful ( would like to have a current e-mail address for him). Thank you for making your home away from home available to enjoy.
