Beware, this is a shared property
We really wanted to enjoy this property, however the property wasn’t what was advertised so we could not. This property is a single family home turned into two separate rentals. Both renting parties share parking, outdoor spaces, and pool. While the host was prompt with their responses, we did not get a welcome feeling from them. We mentioned to perhaps having my wife’s aunt and mother visit us which the host agreed to. We had my wife’s mother stay with us one evening, and then picked up her aunt the next day before going out. The host saw this and approached us and stated the additional guests had to leave immediately which we found uncomfortable, and confusing since not a single rule was being broken. The host also took issue with my son wanting to lay on the couch in the living room to watch tv. While changing linens on a bed, she removed the blanket my son had placed on the couch, also taking his stuffed animal. When I brought it up she acknowledged that she did take it by mistake with the blanket. I don’t know why she didn’t mention it as soon as she noticed. She then told me she would only return it the following day in the afternoon. I practically had to beg to get it sooner. All that aside, the grounds of the property are pretty and well maintained, it’s just a shame the listing leads you to believe they are for a single renter. Also, the property is extremely remote, and throughout the night each night there were several dogs barking all through the night.
