About the host
Your host
Hello and welcome! I’m Maria — an artist, wife, and mom of three who finds joy in creating welcoming spaces filled with beauty and warmth.
Before becoming a full-time artist, I worked in biotech, where I learned the value of paying attention to the smallest details. Over time, I realized that my heart was happiest when my hands were busy with color and texture — whether making art, cooking for my family, or transforming a simple room into a peaceful retreat.
This coastal getaway is a space I designed with care. You’ll find natural textures, ocean-inspired colors, and my original paintings throughout the home. My goal was to capture the calm and creativity I feel living near the sea — a place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
When I’m not painting, I love traveling with my family, exploring farmers markets, cooking, reading (especially poetry), and gathering inspiration that finds its way into my art and home. Hosting allows me to share that same sense of comfort and creativity with my guests.
I hope your stay brings you rest, inspiration, and a touch of coastal magic.
Welcome to my little corner by the coast — I’m so glad you’re here!
