About this property

The Adler · 4BR Mid-Century Estate · Saltwater Pool & Mountain Views

THE ADLER · 4BR Mid-Century Estate · Saltwater Pool & Mountain Views
The Adler is a 4-bedroom mid-century estate in Palm Springs, designed for groups who want their pool house to feel like a private resort. Four luxe bedrooms, three spa bathrooms, and a saltwater pool framed by palms and the San Jacinto Mountains, all wrapped in the kind of design that earned The Adler a place on the 2026 Modernism Week Architectural Tour. Effortlessly chic, impeccably hosted, and built for the trip you'll be talking about for years.
SLEEPS 8 IN LUXURY
Four bedrooms, each with its own personality and design moment:

Primary suite (Casita): King bed, en-suite bath, private entrance
Back primary (San Jacinto Room): King bed, en-suite bath, mountain views
Citrona Room: Queen bed
Tiger Room: Twin beds, perfect for kids or solo travelers

High-end mattresses, layered linens, and blackout shades throughout. Three spa-inspired bathrooms (the Gold Digger Bath, the Lavender Haze Bath, and the San Jacinto En Suite) with luxury bath products, plush towels, and the kind of fixtures that make a morning shower feel like a five-star ritual.
A PRIVATE RESORT IN YOUR BACKYARD
Step outside to the kind of Palm Springs afternoon you came here for. The saltwater pool and spa are framed by palm trees, mountain views, and pink umbrellas that have launched a thousand vacation photos. Lounge poolside, gather around the firepit as the sun drops behind the San Jacintos, or rinse off under the outdoor shower after a swim.
A built-in gas grill anchors the kind of poolside afternoons Palm Springs was made for: long lazy lunches, golden-hour cocktails, dinners that turn into evenings under the café lights. The pool is unfenced and accessible from every interior door, delivering the indoor-outdoor flow Palm Springs is known for.
A note on pool heating:

Optional pool heating: $150/day (Oct to May), $100/day (June to Sept). Not included in booking rates.
Spa heating is included in your stay; takes 15 to 30 minutes to warm.
Please request pool heating at least 48 hours before arrival.
Guests are welcome to bring their own pool floats; none are provided.

INSIDE: MID-CENTURY MEETS MAXIMALIST

High-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TVs throughout. Fully equipped kitchen for groups who like to cook in. Workspace setups for the guest who needs to take a Tuesday call before pool time resumes.

Absolute perfection!

Had the most magical stay at The Adler. The house is perfection. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re transported to another era. My friends and I enjoyed the beautiful pool and backyard during the day and loved chatting in the living room at night. The bedrooms/bathrooms are 5-star luxury. We can’t wait to return!

The Adler is unleavable

The Adler house is pristine and gorgeous, and we enjoyed every second of our stay! This exceeded all the experiences I've had with past stays. The home is spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated. All the thoughtful details they put into it made it an exceptional stay - the fully stocked kitchen and great appliances, extra hooks/hangers/storage in all bedrooms, extra wireless chargers by the beds and throughout the house were a Plus, ample linens and pool towels, excellent book and game selections, and spacious showers and Bedrooms. Everything was immaculate. Our group of 7 was very comfortable here during our stay and would stay again in a heartbeat. The neighborhood is peaceful, family-friendly, and just a few minutes by car to downtown Palm Springs. Ben was a very responsive/friendly host. Highly recommend!

Best Vacation Spot

This is our second time staying at The Adler, so that should tell you a lot! We wanted to return because our first stay was so perfect, and the second stay didn't disappoint. The whole property is designed to give a uniquely Palm Springs vacation feel. It is your own private resort and on both visits, we never left the property. We floated in the pool and read books under pink umbrellas by day and sat in the hot tub by night. The open kitchen has all of the amenities and each of the four bedrooms are uniquely, fabulously decorated. There are special touches throughout The Adler: The Adler post cards, Jonathan Adler mini shampoos, etc., The Adler Cocktail recommendations on the fancy drink cart). The property manager made everything super easy and checked on us during our stay. We noted that usually, it takes a couple days into a vacation to start relaxing, but upon arriving at The Adler, we both felt ourselves easily segue into vacation mode. That's reason enough to stay at The Adler!

Our favorite place

We are already searching our calendars for a time to go back. I truly can’t say enough about this home. When we opened the front door for the first time, we both said, “It’s like a fancy hotel. A 4-bedroom fancy hotel!” The interior design is so special, everything has been carefully curated to make you feel Palm Springs glamorous (a red disco ball on the cocktail cart complete with red-striped cups and a list of inspired cocktails). We cancelled our dinner plans because we didn’t want to leave. There are so many touches to ensure a great stay (I loved the orange twist ties by the pool for your hair!). Even my morning coffee was extra-enjoyable with deep, large coffee mugs that I could wrap my hands around. Everything is carefully thought out and designed to make you feel great in the space. Our communication with the host was seamless and we felt very well taken care of. I honestly could go on, room by room and point out more special touches (and super comfortable beds and pillows), but I’ll end with this: a view of the mountains from your poolside lounge, pink and red striped pool towels, fringed pink umbrellas, and a bottle of bubbly. Is there anything better?

Imagine a fancy hotel, but it's a house!

My family wanted to have a nice staycation in Palm Springs with another family and we couldn't decide between getting a couple hotel rooms or a vacation house. Luckily, we found The Adler which is the best of both worlds. The place is immaculate, with all sorts of fun and fascinating works of art throughout the property (as well as an incredible array of books on shelves, coffee tables and bedsides.) Everything you would want in a boutique hotel (fancy toiletries, free Peet's coffee pods, towels galore) was waiting for us. The pool is enormous, clean, and surprisingly deep. Also, there are a whole bunch of comfy chairs, chaise lounges as well an L-shaped couch under a ginormous umbrella in the backyard as well (not to mention a cornhole setup!) The beds were way more comfortable than the ones we have at home. Lots of Roku TVs everywhere. An outdoor shower where you can look at the mountains as you rinse off. The kitchen area is also perfectly set up with everything you need which was perfect for those of us who wanted to prepare and eat some meals at home. It's also in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood which is not only close to both Palm Springs' main drag in one direction, but also to an Albertson's and a couple drug stores, gas stations, etc. in the other. We also had very quick and easy communication with the host. We all could not stop talking about how awesome this place was and how we never plan on staying anywhere else in Palm Springs again!

About the host

Your host

Host profile image
Why, hello, darling. I’m Mrs. Belvedere, your host here at The Adler. I’m caftans by day, disco by night, and a firm believer that every stay should feel like a fabulous escape. I’ve curated this desert gem with style, sparkle, and a wink of mischief. Whether you're here to unwind or indulge in a little luxury, just know: you’re in very glamorous hands.

Why they chose this property

I chose Racquet Club Estates because it sits at the glamorous crossroads of Palm Springs design and Hollywood history. In 1934, actors Charles Farrell and Ralph Bellamy opened the Palm Springs Racquet Club, which quickly became a star magnet with tennis courts, the Bamboo Room, a sparkling pool, and chic bungalows.

Developers followed the sparkle. The Alexander Construction Company built Racquet Club Estates in 1959 through the early 1960s, with architect William Krisel shaping the neighborhood’s signature butterfly roofs, breeze blocks, and indoor-outdoor flow.

You feel that lineage the moment you arrive. Quiet streets. Big mountain views. Iconic mid-century silhouettes at every turn. Minutes to the Uptown Design District, yet wonderfully serene once you are poolside at The Adler. It is history you can live in. And it is exactly where your Palm Springs story wants to begin.

What makes this property unique

The Adler isn’t merely a place to stay, it’s an experience.

Every inch of this mid-century modern gem was styled for the guest who adores beauty, comfort, and a dash of drama. Think statement wallpaper, sculptural lighting, a gold bathroom that practically winks at you, and our signature pink cheetah, Roxy, who keeps watch over the desert magic.
You’ll sip coffee with mountain views, bask by the turquoise pool, and feel like you’ve stepped into the pages of a design magazine. The Adler is a love letter to Palm Springs glamour, past and present, and every stay is meant to feel like your own private desert escape.
