I have ALWAYS used VRBO for my out of town accommodations. The property description has always been 100% accurate in the description. This was the first property that was not and a total waste of my money.The hostess appeared to be nice however the neighborhood did not appear to be safe or in the best condition. Immediately driving through the neighborhood to get to the house and turning in the driveway to the shed, which was directly behind the house we felt extremely unsafe. The inside of the shed is exactly like the pictures. The outside was very DECEIVING and nothing like the inside. After checking on the internet our feelings were confirmed that this was NOT the safest part of town.We were so disappointed that we unknowingly paid for this accommodation considering it was our anniversary weekend. We immediately got on the internet and found safer accommodations for our anniversary weekend. This was not fair to us to pay for additional accommodations.I encourage the host to be honest and show not only the inside but also the outside surroundings. This will allow people who are not familiar with the area to make a good conscious decision.
