Monthly (30 day minimum) for any month December-March: $4400/month

May open up to short-term rentals after December 1
Tucked into a foothill above the Mad River Valley, this whimsical two-bedroom, two-bath, condo at Butternut Hill offers a private and cozy retreat that is still close to everything that makes Vermont magical year-round.
Set in the woods off of Route 100, Butternut Hill has a quieter, more chill vibe than the condos complexes on the mountain, but is still just minutes from Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and downtown Waitsfield.
Inside, the layout of this end-unit is open and easy. The main living space features high ceilings with exposed beams, a gas-fired stove, and large windows that look out to the forest. There is plenty of space to gather for games, conversation, or a movie night.
The kitchen is efficient and well-equipped. In winter, the radiant heat underfoot in both the kitchen and bathroom is a welcome touch.
The first-floor bedroom offers convenience and quiet, perfect for early risers or guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
Upstairs, a second bedroom with a private bath is tucked away in the treetops -- its a bit like sleeping in the best treehouse, ever.
In total, the condo features two bedrooms, two bathrooms (with showers), in just under 1,000 square feet of living space.
Outside, a gear closet keeps everything organized, safe, and out of the house.
The Butternut Hill community offers seasonal amenities including a pool, tennis courts, and a sauna.
Waitsfield’s restaurants, coffee shops, and markets are a short drive. Waterbury is about a half hour away. You will receive our recently updated and (we're told) occasionally entertaining recommendations for where to eat, shop and visit a few days before you are set to arrive.
