There's a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, a separate coffee/tea bar complete with complementary amenities, sunny dining room that seats everyone comfortably with additional tables and seating, fully updated bathroom with ample storage and a vanity, and a cozy living area featuring plush couches, a smart TV, a gas stove for those chilly nights, and air-conditioning that keep the first floor cool and comfortable. All three bedrooms have a box fan beneath each bed if needed. There's whole-home high-speed internet with internet boosters which will give you full performance no matter where you are inside. There is plenty of bandwidth for streaming and video calls so you should be good for work/playInternet. The home includes a remote workspace with an electric sit-stand desk and a 34' ultrawide monitor. Spend the evening gathered around the firepit, enjoying the spectacular 180-degree sunset, and showering off at the outdoor shower underneath the stars while listening to nature sounds including a nearby babbling brook (season-dependent). You couldn't ask for a sweeter stay - all that's left to do is book it.
THINGS TO KNOW This outdoor shower is not available in winter due to freeze risk. This home is equipped with a 50 amp outlet for EV charging (vehicles only). Perfect spot
We stayed at Historic Valley View as a stop on a fall foliage trip. Such a wonderful spot to get to amazing small towns and great views. The listing of restaurants, etc. was super helpful and a nice touch. Absolutely would stay again!

Lovely spot, pretty views, nicely redone home, warm and cozy, easy access to Montpelier and ski areas.
Loved this cozy house with the owners touches. So picturesque with the covered bridge down the road and beautiful foliage for a college family weekend!

Beautiful home
Such a beautiful property! It has amazing views of the valley and beautiful views of the night sky! Also this house is near a Vermont wooden bridge! Which is really nice!
This rental was absolutely perfect for our family. The house is historic, charming and well equipped with games and comfort. Everyone had easy nights rest and the location is convenient for going into town and getting to Sugarbush (and I'm sure Mad River). The view from the dining room is so pretty especially watching the fluffy snow as it did much of the weekend! The kitchen is well stocked with spices and such and is easy to cook in. I would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Perfection
Loved this place, the only negative was we didn’t get to spend more time here.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay with beautiful views and off the beaten path. We were comfortable in the space and looked forward to coming back each evening after a day of exploring. Wifi worked well. Host left a helpful binder with information and recommendations. We used the kitchen, and it had the cookware we needed.
It was a positive experience. Owners were responsive to a tv glitch

The quiet is unsurpassable.
It is a well-appointed property, and very clean. It is an 1801 property that has been beautifully preserved. But that means there is one bathroom on the bottom floor while the master bedroom is on the second. The owners add thoughtful little things in the kitchen and around the house. Recommended!
Over all ok, we were there to celebrate Thanksgiving with family who live locally so there to sleep. I will say the upstairs queen is very uncomfortable & having all but one pillow in the home, large & firm a problem. I usually travel with pillow but forgot this trip I did not sleep well.

Hi Cathy, thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback as a means to continually improve our homes for future guests.
We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future!
This place was perfect for our annual girlfriends' ski getaway because it was 15 min. to Sugarbush! The home is as pictured except the valley view was even BETTER than imagined (and they added a futon to the first floor"office")! The beds were comfortable; all modern amenities including internet/streaming made this a relaxing stay. Thank you! This is a beautifully upkept 1801 home and still has some of those original specs and charm (see tips). Enjoy it! Thanks again for a wonderful stay in this winter wonderland!
Tips for future renters: we had unseasonably warm weather for a February stay, which made for an early "mud" season. In mud, use caution when driving on the access road; no need for a 4WD car though. Remember to read the kitchen description carefully as there is no microwave. Anyone over 5'3" will need to remember to duck when ascending/descending the stairs.

Cozy and rustic Vermont gem
Thanks for a comfortable and smooth stay for a snowy weekend in Waitsfield. Communication from the Vacasa team was clear, and we arrived to a ploughing driveway, straightforward access, and a spotless home. The beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a cozy stay in a winter wonderland.
