We absolutely loved everything about this property including all the extra touches to make us feel so welcome. It is just 2 blocks from Butler Street which makes for a perfect location. The decor is inviting, calming and felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Long weekend in Saugatuck

We have been going to Saugatuck every year since 2014 and this property is our favorite 2 bedroom. Kate was so easy to communicate with and she thought of everything to include for our stay. The house has a fantastic screened porch and is steps from everything downtown. We can’t wait to return!

This is a beautiful property in a great location that sets the standard for high-quality. Everything has been thought of so you don’t have to, from reading glasses on the desk to cozy blankets in the screened in porch, this property makes relaxing easy. Perfection!

We just returned from a 5 day stay at Dragonfly and I’m ready to go back! From the very first communication, to getting to meet her when we checked out, Katie made this one of the best rental experiences we’ve had. SO MANY thoughtful touches including a welcome basket, beach supplies, and some bathroom and kitchen essentials, she has really thought of everything. Dragonfly is perfect for 2 couples, a small family, or a couple with their pup like us. The location was perfect: steps from all the shops and restaurants, as well as the Friday Farmers Market. This home is on a quiet street which made morning coffee and evening drinks on the fabulous screened porch our favorite parts of the day. Dragonfly is an immaculate home full of everything you need for a visit to Saugatuck.

This beautiful home is located on a peaceful cul-de-sac which made it private and quiet. Yet it was still close to everything in Saugatuck and Douglas we wanted to do (being able to walk downtown was a real plus). The home is outfitted perfectly, every convenience you could need or want is available. The owner has thought of everything. Our favorite feature was the gorgeous and comfortable screened in porch on the back of the house. We look forward to returning!

We had the most amazing stay at the Dragonfly! Katie was such a gracious host and communication was a breeze. You can't beat the location and the house was spotless! The house has been updated and everything you could ever need is provided. The special little touches and concierge services were top notch. We utilized the concierge services and everything requested, Katie made happen. From charcuterie, lunch, and groceries upon arrival to our anniversary dinner with a private chef, Chef Jazer, from Duck Alley, who was spectacular!! Chef Jazer also created weekly meals based on our preferences thanks to Katie. She also arranged a private painting class at Ox-Bow for my birthday!! Katie really goes above and beyond! This is our go to place when visiting Saugatuck and we cant wait to go back! Thanks Katie!!

It’s NOT a good option for FamiliesBeautifully decorated, very walkable location. The host even has thoughtful touches throughout .The main issue is that the host is very particular about her things and her space. Be aware if you do stay here to put everything back perfectly and clean the house thoroughly before you leave (or you might be charged extra cleaning fees on top of the existing cleaning fee and pet fee ). The house is so put together, looks like it’s out of a magazine. But there are strict standards that come with it!We had a small accident and offered to pay for it, but the host leveraged this as an opportunity to ask for more . It was very disappointing and felt cold .We did bring our dog as well (the property is advertised as pet friendly).. we did not realize the owner has a specialty approval process. They only accepts dogs that do not shed .We admitted to the mistake,, but flexibility and compassion were seriously lacking here. It was a very rigid process. We did not feel welcome or understood.This is a great option for a single person, younger/older couple who can take every effort to keep it pristine and up to the owners standards. If this doesn’t sound like you, don’t risk it

Because I care so deeply about the guest experience, I also believe it’s important to consistently uphold the published policies and house rules that are shared with every guest before their stay. Those standards aren’t about being particular—they’re about ensuring every guest arrives to the same thoughtfully cared-for home that previous guests enjoyed. This review was written after I requested reimbursement through Vrbo following this stay. The request related to documented property damage, an undisclosed pet that did not comply with my published pet policy, and extraordinary cleaning beyond a standard turnover. These were not assumptions—they were acknowledged by the guest in our written communication and documented immediately after checkout. The matter was ultimately resolved through the booking platform. These situations are never my hope or expectation, and they are certainly not the most enjoyable part of hosting. But caring for a home at a high standard also means addressing issues honestly, consistently and fairly when they arise. I believe guests deserve both genuine hospitality and clear, transparent expectations, and I remain committed to treating every guest with respect while applying those same standards consistently. I’m proud of the experience Dragonfly provides and grateful for the many guests who have appreciated the thoughtful details, care and hospitality that go into every stay.

A beautiful place to relax and unwind in the heart of Saugatuck.

This place is amazing. The decor, attention to detail and amenities make it a place we’d come back to again and again. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and Katie welcomed the birthday girl with decorations and other special surprises. The house is spotless and very inviting! A great place to stay when visiting Saugatuck.

The perfect location for exploring Saugatuck and the surrounding area. The home is outfitted with everything you could need, even beach chairs, board games, and extra pillows. The home is named "The Dragonfly" and they really leaned into it with the decor, which is all is tans and greens. It all is so cohesive and was clearly well thought out. Also, it was so clean, not even sand had invaded the living spaces. You know you're looking for things to critique when you start thinking about how several light bulbs are a HARSH bright white (let's get those replaced with some soft lighting). All in, a great stay and highly recommended.
