5 The whole experience was perfect. AMAZING communication with the hosts from the 1st day of booking. Check-in, readiness and cleanliness of the house was Great! Host were very accommodating to our late arrival with a bonus nostalgic entrance. Candles, flowers, chocolates & bubbly were awaiting us upon our arrival as this was a 20 year Anniversary trip with our family. Midway through our stay the hosts checked in to see if any clean towels, etc. were needed. House is on a gated private drive & felt very safe. Would highly recommend this house & would most definitely stay here again.

About the host

Hosted by Peter Lanoue

Host profile image
I'm a retired Army Master Sergeant who spent 23 years serving my country before creating peaceful places where people can slow down and reconnect. My family and I have worked hard to transform these properties into comfortable retreats where guests can relax after a day of exploring.

I enjoy woodworking, spending time outdoors, and continually improving each property. Hosting has become something I genuinely enjoy because every guest has a story, and I'm grateful to provide a place where families, couples, and adventurers can create lasting memories.

My goal is simple: offer a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay that feels like a home away from home.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this area because of its peaceful countryside, friendly community, and easy access to some of Florida's most beautiful natural springs. It's the perfect balance of quiet relaxation and outdoor adventure.

Whether you're kayaking at Ginnie Springs, swimming at Poe or Blue Springs, hiking nearby trails, or simply enjoying the evening sounds of nature from the porch, this part of North Florida has a way of helping you slow down and recharge. It's a place we're proud to share with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Casa de Luna is more than just a place to stay—it's a peaceful retreat where comfort, relaxation, and quality time come together. Whether you're visiting Gainesville, exploring North Florida's crystal-clear springs, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, you'll feel right at home.

Inside, you'll find a bright and inviting living area, a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a full bathroom, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Prime Video for relaxing evenings, or gather around the fireplace, play games, or simply unwind after a day of adventure.

Step outside to enjoy the shared swimming pool, relax beneath the Florida sky, or gather around the fire pit for a peaceful evening. The home comfortably accommodates families, couples, traveling professionals, and small groups looking for a relaxing stay.

With central air conditioning, in-home laundry, and a quiet country setting just minutes from Gainesville and many of Florida's most beautiful springs, Casa de Luna offers the perfect blend of modern comfort, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality.
