Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
For sanitary reasons please do not wear shoes in the cabin.
All trash placed in the bin must be securely bagged. If it is not, this will result in a $60 fee.
If for any reason, any linen in the house is damaged during your stay you will be charged the cost of replacement. Fees: sheet set-$170, towel-$35.

This is a new, pleasant little cabin in the woods, approximately half a mile on a gravel road. The house is well-kept and extremely well stocked, probably the best stocked house I’ve stayed in as a rental. We were out of the house at 10:00 as instructed. We were in the driveway reconfiguring the luggage for 2 cars and left at 10:25. I was charged a late fee. The host is not friendly, to say the least. Btw, there is a game camera in the woods pointed at the house.

Hi Debra, it’s disclosed in the listing that there is a motion activated security camera facing the driveway. As for the late checkout fee, I had two housekeepers and one maintenance worker waiting at the end of the road for your party to leave so they could get started doing what needed to be done. I pay by the hour, and unfortunately these charges had to be passed to you. Thank you for your understanding.
