The house was cute but needed some updates - dock was missing boards, fridge door seal was falling off, some shades were broken, and an outlet in the kitchen was questionable. Air conditioning was limited to the living room and 1 bedroom. The lake was great for kayaking but not swimming as it had a lot of aquatic vegetation growing but the water was crystal clear. There were many kayak and paddle board options to use but no rope to tie them to the dock. It was a quiet neighborhood and lake in general.

Our stay was great. This is a location we were hoping to be in to explore the Hudson Valley. We were very close to hiking, biking and day trips to Great Barrington MA, and Hudson NY. There are lots of local farm stands to pick up fresh veggies.The house was very clean and roomy. There is a lovely screened in porch, perfect for relaxing with a good book. The pond right in the back of the house is lovely for sunset kayaks.The host was very responsive if we had any issues or questions. Very nice spot.
