Cozy & rustic, welcoming cabin in Laurel Mountain Village, less than 1 mile to Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. House is perfect for both summer and winter with an indoor fireplace and a big outdoor fire ring. Yard is great for families, tons of open space and a fun rope swing. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom; One bedroom with a queen bed and the second bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The house can sleep 8. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need.

* New Screened in front porch and balcony off of the second story bedroom.
** Please note that the stairs to the second floor (2 bedrooms and bathroom) are steep however there are handrails on both sides
*** Wifi is not available up on the mountain, the property does have good cell reception

Cozy cabin for a two-night ski vacation

We really enjoyed staying in this warm, family-friendly cabin in late February when we came up for two nights to ski at Laurel Mountain. The rustic mountain-chalet decor helped us relax immediately. There is plenty of room, even for a big family. The place was clean and we slept well in the comfortable beds.

Perfect cabin getaway

The pictures did not do this cabin justice. It was beautiful on a lovely piece of property. The accommodations were fantastic. This was exactly what we were hoping for and more. We would love to come back.

We loved our stay. The cabin the nice and quaint. The location was perfect for biking and hiking trail access (& skiing if that’s your thing)! Communication was great, and the cabin was very cozy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Could not have picked a better VRBO for this time of year!

With all the hustle and bustle going on in our lives, we decided to slip away for a little R and R on our days off. As the title said, I could not have picked a better VRBO for this time of year. When we got there everything was very clean and very cozy. Playing board games on the screened-in porch while listening to the ambient nature sounds is a memory i soon wont forget. The owner replied quickly to any questions that we had and was friendly. This cabin is only a short drive from forbes state forest and i highly recommend both the bog trail as well as wolf rocks trail. My only complaint is that we only had two days to enjoy the serenity!

Hiking Vacation

The cabin was as described, quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. We loved the fire pit and that we were able to bring my dog along too.

We loved the location which was perfect for us. We wish the place was a better lit and a little better taken care of. There were very few supples and some things we missed was hand soap in the upstairs bathroom, Kleenex and a working microwave oven. One thing we loved was the screened in porch

Secluded Cozy Cabin

Really a Cabin feel. Very secluded… enjoyed the large fire pit. Lots of good amenities in the cabin. Enjoyed all the furnishings and knick-knacks. Comfortable beds. Convenient location. 30 minutes to Steelers Training Camp and 20 minutes to Idlewild. Highly recommend. Only issue was the stairs. Going up and down was a little dicey for those of us 65 and over, lol, but there is a bed/bath on the main floor

Very nice property.

Very nice property. We had a great time. If there was any negative , it was the bad water from the faucets. Very high in iron and as a result, there was a bad odor and the water was red. They did provide bottled water for our use but of course we couldn’t use for showers or hair washing. Loved the location and the beds and furniture were great. I definitely would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the water and that was beyond their control. Definitely would come again.

Perfect getawy from it all

So quiet and peaceful. Nice place for the teens to unplug, play games and relax. Night market in Ligonier was fun. Screen porch was the most used room!

Guys trip

Cabin was fantastic, beautiful scenery, couple minute drive to hiking trails and scenic overlook. If you like distillery’s The Rusty Musket is only 15 minutes away.

Great break for the family

Our family had a little get together to break up the lull after the holidays and still stuck in winter. We found this little cabin off the beaten path, and it was perfect for us. The fireplace is amazing, the cabin is really cute. There is no wifi and service is questionable, but that's exactly what we were looking for. There are games on hand to play, and was really nice to sit around and talk and laugh.

Perfect cabin for a ski trip

Great cabin with plenty of sleeping space. Had a nice size living space with a fireplace and a huge screened in porch. Super close to skiing. Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend Fat Daddy's Pub and Grill during your stay.

Beautiful Peaceful Snowy stay

Laurel Mountain Cabin

Enjoyable stay. Very close to Laurel Mountain Skiing. Houses are spaced far apart so you feel very secluded. Very quiet location. Plenty of fire wood provided for the fireplace. You may want to bring your own kindling to get logs started. We couldn’t find any. The cabin was very comfortable for 4. I was able to use my IPad and cell service was good if that is important to you. The host recommendations were perfect. We loved The Kitchen restaurant. We appreciate greatly that our dogs could come too. We would return.

A Perfect Christmas

The location cannot be beat. The cabin was adorable and so cozy for a quiet family Christmas. There was more than enough room for the 6 of us. There was plenty of firewood to keep the fireplace going and the cabin warm the entire stay. It was exactly what we were looking for and we would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Wedding weekend at Ligonier

We had a family wedding at the Barn and this was the perfect spot for all of us. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace as it was a cool evening when we arrived. We had a wonderful walk and enjoyed some of the trails. I recommend this for anyone who is a lover of rustic places. We will stay here again when the next wedding comes up.
