Wonderful vacation

We had a great time at Happy Days. The layout worked for our large family that had various needs (couples, young kids, etc.), the place was clean, comfortable and the location was great. The street was quiet, the pool was great and the views were good. We would absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway

Perfect for our family!

This home was perfect for our family! Beautiful house with well equipped kitchen and was so nice to have the extra refrigerator space with one on every floor. Also was great to have a bathroom for each bedroom. We loved the location. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location

The house was clean and a great location. The kids really enjoyed the pool we were there early in the season and the pool was a little cold but they didn’t care. You are practically on the beach just a street to cross that is not busy since it is a dead end. I would definitely stay again.

Christmas vacation

House was great and well maintained,lots of room for everyone to spread out. Pool furniture was plentiful and new. Cleaning staff was fair at best. Overall we really liked the property.

Fall break

Great location, beach was very private. There were a couple maintenance items that needed upkeep done like a missing bench seat on the picnic table by the pool and deck boards on 2nd level that needed screwed back down. There was a piece of siding missing downstairs. Overall, nice home, would stay again.

Needs Cleaning inside and out.

Great Location. Carpet needs to be replaced, linens are not so nice, mattresses are in bad shape, and outside area around pool and porches were very dirty with left over cigarette butts, food, lighters, etc..

multi family vacation

Our families have not been on vacation since the kids got married and had their own children(since 2010)We found this house and loved it. It was exactly as pictured. the kitchen was well equipped with whatever you needed. There are three floors with each having a den, which made it easy for the kids to watch tv or play in one den while the adults were watching tv in another. You can put your kids to bed and still enjoy a fun time on the main level. We will definitely book this house again. It was great!

Lovely getaway for our group!

We really enjoyed this spacious property. Everything was spotless upon arrival & there were ample towels/starter toiletries. We weren't sure how in-person check in would go, but it was very quick and the staff were friendly. We were thrilled to find a stand-alone ice maker in the kitchen (what a treat) and while the dishwasher wasn't super effective, we took turns handwashing the dishes and it wasn't a big deal. We were glad to have 3 fridges (though the lower level fridge ended up freezing most of what we put in it) and to find that there was a grill (we weren't sure from the description). Our kids LOVED the pool (and of course the easy access to the very private beach!); the adults appreciated having multiple living rooms and nice deck furniture for enjoying the peaceful views. We would definitely return here!

This house was perfect for a large group - large living and eating areas and everything you could need to live comfortably. The separate living areas on each floor also made it easy to find private time as well! The walk to the beach couldn't have been closer and the beach was basically private - very secluded. The pool was fantastic. The four star review is simply due to distance away from shopping and restaurants (it took us 10-15 min to get back into civilization), as well as some malfunctioning DVD players and stopped drains in the bathrooms. Also, be prepared to bring not only your beach towels, but bath towels as well, as we only had 2 towels per bathroom provided and in a house that sleeps 22, this was just not enough for our needs. This being said, we would definitely stay again - the immense size of the house and proximity to the beach covers a multitude of minor inconveniences!!

Love the Property--gotta give the management company a nudge

House was beautiful and worked really well for our multiple families. Management company was lacking. 1) They gave us the wrong address and code for wrong house, too. (Glad we figured it out before we barged in on others) 2) Correct house, Happy Days, was unlocked when we arrived. 3) Needed the basement furnace one night--it hadn't been tested or cleaned & set off fire alarms. 4) Dishes, put away in the cupboards, were coated with food. Coated. with. food. 5) Cockroaches on the floors. So, the house is lovely for large groups. Our crew loved the entire week, and the poor management didn't impact our trip. The Beach and community was great. I'd switch management companies if I owned the property . . . and if I were going to stay there (with Reed as the management company), I'd plan on doing the dishes and cleaning upon arrival.

I looked into your reservation, and it appears that we did have a technician come out for the heater, who stated that the heater was in working condition and set off the alarms because it had not been used in a while. The weather here does not get very cold for a vast majority of the year, which causes most houses in the area to have the same problem. There were no other complaints logged with our office. We regret that you encountered these issues and would have been happy to assist you with any problem that came up with the property as we do with all our guests. We strive to make every stay a great one and will use your feedback for the improvement of future stays. Great Location, Cozy and Spacious home

We arrived a little late and it was kind of hard to figure out where to get the key and welcome package from. Once we figured that out, the overall stay was great. Not sure why you need to go to the leasing office to pick up the welcome package and door code when it could have just been emailed. House was clean, spacious and plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms. Location to the beach was also amazing. The view of the sunrise and sunset from the house were really great too. Unfortunately, it was too cold when we went and we couldn't use the pool or deck/balcony's much. Because it was cold, we turned on the heating and it didn't work properly in the room right by the stairs (first floor where the kitchen was). One of the bathrooms also had that same issue. On checkout, one thing that kind of didn't make sense was why we had to put everything away (vs leaving cleaned dishes in the dishwasher). Overall, we didn't have any issues with the stay, didn't have to call anyone for anything during our stay either. If we come back to that location again, would definitely look to rent this place again.

Great access to the beach. The road in front of the property was very rough. It needs work. Inside of beach house was pretty clean. Light fixtures over eating counter were very dirty. Had heavy dust accumulation. No handle on oven door. Stairway carpet needed cleaning. All entrance doors were very dirty. Outdoor eating deck table was very dirty. Pool area had two broken chaise lounge chairs. Should have been removed. Outdoor faucet by the pool leaked all week and that patio area was very dirty and black. Lots of small litter around the main entry steps. Outdoor shower hose connection leaked and sprayed. We understand these homes get lots of use. But we paid a lot and expected a much better maintained and cleaner property. Seems like there was no attention given to the outside of the property.

Company event a success

First this is an amazing house and fit our needs perfectly. Easily fit our ten people with tons of privacy between families and easy beach access on beautiful beach. During quarantine Check in process should have been an email rather than f2f 20 minutes past rental house. Lots of minor maintenance issues like dryer upstairs not working, worn floor mats, older linens, mystery carpet stains, outside plug on porch not working, outlet on floor missing cover, kitchen light not working, second floor bedroom window doesn’t close, second floor door knob sticks and would not close, and third floor sliding door hard to open. Pool nice but skimmer not working. Needs a blender, newer cutting boards, and hand can opener. Pots and nonstick pans were flaky and reaching end of life. Decks were all great and relaxing with good views. Chairs on send story were beautiful and comfortable. Some dated games in cabinet but we brought a ton for team building and glad we did. Bring your own soaps, trash bags, and paper towels. Despite the maintenance issues, we would stay here again and would recommend to others. Very nice location, decks, and pool - close to beach and fun but far enough away from town for relaxation and privacy.

Happy Days Review

There is plenty of room at happy days. The house was clean, beds great, quality linens. The kitchen is as advertised plenty of everything. The deck furniture was great and plenty of it for our group. The only minus I would say was the pool area it did need some cleaning up and a few chairs replaced. I will definitely keep this location in mind when renting again.

Great for big groups!

It's a great property for a group of friends with children or a big family. The house was pretty clean (fans were pretty dusty and there were ants) but those were the only major things. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, silverware and utensils!!! We will definitely stay at this property again. There is a charcoal grill that can be used that wasn't listed on the disciption too. The walk to the beach was short and easy enough even my 79 year old grandmother could do it.

Amazing view and location

This beach house was amazing . I didn’t ever want to leave . Had everything you needed for a beach staycation and was close enough to restaurants and activities if you wanted to go out . It was like being at your own private beach . Also the bed was so comfortable. I will definitely be returning on the future.

Perfect for large family vacation!

Loved the location of this beach house! We could easily walk to the beach or chill by the private pool. We had 5 families from 3 states meet here for a vacation and it was perfect for us! Plenty of space for everyone and it met all of our requirements. There were only a few things I thought could be replaced but nothing that affected our stay negatively. We would definitely return to this spot!!
