We are located in downtown Plymouth where you can enjoy the many restaurants, family-friendly activities, ocean adventures, golfing, nightlife and historic attractions. This spacious 1,500 square foot 1st floor unit offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, eat-in kitchen, private yard with awning, deck, barbeque grill, off-street parking and more! This newly updated historic home is cozy and comfortable with all the modern-day amenities.

Come Visit Historic Plymouth: This historic home built in the late 1700's is a favorite for travelers seeking a touch of the old combined with a touch of new. Just across the street is the historic Plymouth Training Green and Civil War Monument, circa 1711. It is the oldest continuously used park in the country. Just a short stroll brings you to the quaint shores of Plymouth Harbor, the home of the Mayflower II and Plymouth Rock. Here you can also enjoy shopping at our town stores, dining in our seaside restaurants, taking a walk along Brewster Park Gardens, experience the thrill of a deep-sea fishing charter, a day on the golf course or jump on the ferry to Provincetown and the Islands. There is something for everyone no matter what your age.

Did not stay at the house we paid for!

At our arrival on site, the house was entirely under construction works, with no furniture, no water… we called the owners who said he was waiting for our call to explain the situation. In a nutshell he didn’t want to alarm us and tell us before our arrival that we would be moved at one other property in town. You can easily understand our frustration, anger and disappointment for being sent to a house we didn’t booked!!! So we had no other choice to accept this location change, but I really disagree with this behaviour and service. I will never use your platform again for next vacation!

Bait-and-Switch

On the day of our arrival I was sent check in information for a different location than I reserved. I had booked this VRBO 1 year before the trip, so I did not immediately realize that this was a different address. We had been traveling since 0330, and were exhausted when we arrived. Bob did greet us at the home when we were unloading our luggage, and I did say that the home was good, and admired the historic architecture. I did ask Bob if anyone had rented the upstairs during our conversation to ensure we had parked appropriately, and he paused, and told me that the only people coming where the ones I had invited. It wasn't until we were unpacking that evening that we realized we were not in the correct location. The bedrooms had all been set up the same as described in the listing, so the difference was not immediately obvious. I texted Bob at 0830 the following morning requesting an explanation, and never received a response. I drove by the reserved location, and a construction dumpster was in the parking area, so I did not press the topic further. The home I was sent to was not as updated and modern as the location I thought I was renting. It had 1.5 bathrooms instead of 2. The only shower/bathtub was upstairs. One of my family members has had a stroke, so the stairs were difficult for him. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was still convenient. Just don't agree with the bait-and-switch behavior, and lack of an explanation.

Wedding in Plymouth

Friends and family gathered in Plymouth for a wedding and had an absolutely amazing stay!!! We had all three units and enjoyed the first floor unit and landscaped yard as our hub with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms across all three floors. House was newly renovated throughout, immaculate, and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Bob the host was quick to respond and check-in was easy. Best rental we’ve ever had, highest recommendations!

Great location but a little rough around the edgess

The place was fine but the pictures don't show some of the issues. The owner was very responsive and accomodating during our month long stay- he put room darkening shades up for our grandchildren to visit and got back to us quickly all the time. However, some of the issues were unexpected given the price and pictures- Main shower had a lot of mold growing, Doors had sharp exposed latches, Towel bar was loose, Kitchen dishes were sparse. There were areas that looked like they were in the process of being fixed with Paint, spackle etc. Owner was good about bringing needed things. Outdoor space was very nice. There were some toys for young kids but it Could be more kid friendly with a handheld shower head and some beach toys. It is window ac not central air. The location is great and huge plus to be walking distance to town and easy drive to main attractions

Lovely home, great location and wonderful hosts

We rented the bottom floor (3 bed, 2 bath) of this home. It was super nice and cute. Had everything we needed. Kitchen was well appointed. And there was a big back yard and patio that was nice to hang out on. The hosts provided all that we needed and didn’t skim on supplies like some hosts do. We had a problem with the TV cable, called the owner and he was there is 15 minutes to resolve this issue. He even showed us the upstairs unit which was even lovelier than the lower unit. (No sure if it is for rent or not though.) The location of this house was perfect for us — within blocks of our daughter’s house, a short walk to downtown, and there is a park across the street for us to take our granddaughter to. Since we often go visit our daughter and her family in Plymouth, we will definitely try to rent this house again!

A great location

The house had many historical architectures with gorgeous modern decorations. The outdoor space was beautiful as well. The owners were great. The Plymouth harbor was a 5 minute walk and there were plenty of outdoor activities between whale watching, deep-sea fishing, plantation, grist mill, burial hill. The walking historic tour by Jenny Museum is a must. Also, plenty of beaches to visit by car.

LOVELY ONE LEVEL HOME NEAR HISTORICAL SITES AND HARBOR

Lovely ‘one level’ home (entire main floor of 3 stories) ideally situated within walking distance (or short drive if you’re tired) to Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth Rock, dining, shopping, boat & people watching, etc... A/C is combo of free standing unit (in kitchen) and window units in 2 of the 3 bedrooms- with fans in 3rd bedroom... our week was exceptionally cool weather for July and this worked fine for the most part (our son complained of being hot a couple nights- he had the room w/o an A/C unit) so if that is concerning to you know in advance it’s not a home with central A/C. Otherwise well situated location... adequately appointed with the most needful of amenities... easy checkin/checkout... etc... If having a TV in every room is important- know this home *only* has TV in the living room only- but with iPhone/tablets and being on the go so much- this wasn’t a big issue with our family. Nice to have washer/dryer in the home... nice to have access to beach chairs from the owner... nice to have the back patio/deck... nice to have such a close proximity to the harbor, local dining, shops, etc... Overall a very nice stay in both a clean and safe feeling home! Overall a five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super Host/Location

The location of this house was perfect for our family vacation, with members of our family travelling from three states to meet with friends and family in the nearby area. Bob was very attentive, and responded to all of our questions and needs. The back yard and deck was enjoyed by us all from morning coffee to grilled dinners. The location was perfect for walking. I would recommend this place and stay again when traveling to this area.

Just spent a long weekend in Plymouth. The house was beautiful - old style charm with lovely fireplaces, beautifully updated, fashionably decorated. Comfortable beds, fresh linens, nice-sized deck with awning. Quiet area but close to restaurants and shops. Loved having 2 off-street parking spots. Would definitely stay here again.

Bob and Cheryl met in high school. They have been together for more than 40 years. Bob spend 21 years in the United States Marine Corp which took them all over the country. After his retirement, Bob and Cheryl wanted to return to their family and roots in New England and were immediately attracted to Plymouth. They have two children (one on the east coast and one on the west coast) and an adorable grandson.

Why they chose this property

Bob and Cheryl bought this property so that they could share it with others. It's location, charm, style and age (built in the late 1700's) were very attractive to them. While house hunting, finding a home that was unique and needed a little tender loving care was top of their list. This property gave them all those things and more.

What makes this property unique

Neighborhood feel, walking distance to all Plymouth Center amenities. We rent year-round. We can accommodate up to 16 guests by renting our other units in the building.
