The traditional outdoor wet/dry sauna is one of the main highlights to this unique listing and is a perfect way to relax after a hard day of exploring. The home also offers a wood burning stove that can be used to make the living space warm and inviting after being outdoors all day. As and added bonus there is a fire pit in the yard for relaxing and roasting marshmallows. Sitting and relaxing on the porch swing on the back porch with your coffee can be the perfect start to your day. This 3-4 bedroom 2 bath house can accommodate up to 7-10 people and features WI-Fi with smart T.V., DVD player, game council, washer and dryer. 2nd bathroom is located in the basement.
Guests have access to living, bathroom and sleeping spaces on the first and second floor, the basement for additional bathroom and laundry. The third floor is currently closed off for owners personal use. The parking lot on the east side of the house is large enough to accommodate up to six parked cars or several vehicles hauling trailers.
I can be reached through email, text, phone or through Airbnb messaging system. I do my best to respond within minutes and try not to be very far from access to communication tools if you have any questions.
Walking distance from hiking, biking and cross country ski trails. A short 1.5 miles to the heart of Michigan Technological University`s campus, home of the Huskies, within 2.5 miles of Mt. Ripley, Quincy Mine, and Finlandia University.
Conveniently located on a main street that leads to the nearby major shopping district which includes Walmart, Shopko, Walgreens, auto parts stores, movie theater, fast food restaurants and grocery stores. All your shopping needs for your stay are just a short, convenient drive down the street.
I will email a guideline and information packet prior to your arrival which will help answer questions you may have about the property and help to make your arrival and stay smooth and enjoyable.
Please be respectful of the noise level for neighbors.
We are `well trained` dog-friendly as well! We ask for a 2 dog limit, under 50 lbs, no barkers. We ask that you practice our `4 on the floor` policy. No pets in or on beds, or furnishings as we do have guests who have pet allergies.
Please clean up after your pet as well when doing their outside business.
If you do have to leave the dog while you are staying, we ask that dogs are kenneled at that time. Under no circumstances are dogs to be left unattended in the home. This is of course to ensure there is no damage caused by the dog.
We understand that it can be scary and uncertain for them to be in an unfamiliar place.
Thanks for your cooperation!
