Thank you for the five-star review! Glad 279 Shorewood Dr worked so well for your family — spacious and well stocked with toys, toiletries, and kitchen essentials. Great to hear the neighborhood was quiet and walkable, and that you enjoyed the backyard and hot tub. We appreciate you choosing Stay Winter Park and would love to host you again.
Overall, we had a good time. The hot tub was very loud during its cycles. I notified management company. Seems like a pump or motor is starting to fail. Was able to use the hot tub in between cycles and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the back yard area--private and quiet. Could have used some basic condiments like mayo, mustard, ketchup. Fridge had been set at high temp so by day 2 some items were beginning to freeze. I set back to suggested setting and it seemed to work well. Surprised there was not an instruction manual for the house. There was a binder but nothing inside. Kitchen had all necessary tools and beds were very comfy. Easy check-in and nice location with easy access to Grand Lake.
We loved the location to the lake and the cabin’s amenities of the game room and hot tub. Property manager was great with communication. Would stay here again!
The layout is a little odd, with kitchen, dining, main BR and bunk beds at entry level; then downstairs is the small living room, sitting area and another bed, bath. There’s only room for 4 people to watch TV and it’s not a smart TV; you can only watch what’s live. No DVD.The place needs work. The microwave door was held together with Gorilla Tape. Plates were chipped. One dining chair was wobbly. Two plastic outdoor chairs were broken. Heater in main bath didn’t appear to work. A new dishwasher blocked drawers. So ask if these things have been fixed before you book. That said, it was a quiet neighborhood. We saw emerald colored hummingbirds, an osprey and a squirrel while sitting out back.
This place was amazing and was all the description stated. The place was clean and fully stocked. I gave this place a 5 star rating. We all loved the place very much, however there are a couple small items I wanted to list. There were a couple switches that did not work, 1 dimmer was actually shorting out, a maintenance man was supposed to come and never did....this was the only reason for a 4 star for host communication....otherwise they answered my questions immediately. I like it when a place provides a book that include stay details, how to use the hot tub, turn on the fireplace, dishwasher, suggested restaurants nearby, suggested boat and kayak rentals etc.....this makes it easier to avoid figuring things out....This is not a negative, just a suggestion. We all loved this place and our stay in Colorado very much. The neighborhood was friendly and peaceful, view amazing and I have never seen more stars in the sky. Thanks for everything!

Thank you for the five-star review! Glad 279 Shorewood Dr was exactly as described — clean, fully stocked, and with a wonderful view and peaceful neighborhood. I’m sorry about the switches and the dimmer shorting, and for the missed maintenance visit; we’ve passed this along to our maintenance team to ensure those issues are resolved. Thank you also for the suggestion about a printed house manual — we’re adding a guest book with stay details (hot tub, fireplace, dishwasher), plus local restaurant and rental recommendations. We appreciate you choosing Stay Winter Park and would love to host you again.
Great location to enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park and wonderful amenities to come home and relax. We enjoyed using the hot tub, ping pong and foosball.
Our family of five had a wonderful stay here. This home was perfect for its location, setup, amenities, beautiful setting! Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Maureen for being so timely with my questions. We loved your property and had a wonderful vacation.
We loved our stay. The house had everything we could want or need. The fire pit and hot tub were great additions to the outside with deer wandering by while we enjoyed our time around the fire.
This house was perfect. Everything was easy and exactly as described. The hot tub, fire pit and game room were all great. It is set up to be a stress free, family friendly environment. Everything was clean and worked as we needed.
We loved our time in Grand Lake at the cabin. My husband and I agree it is our favorite vacation spot yet!
The sm memories, decor, views and location were excellent! We were able to enjoy the wildlife and peacefulness in a space that felt like home!Thank you for your hospitality!
The property was perfect for our family vacation! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had a nice view from back porch. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Grand Lake was an amazing place to stay close to Rocky Mountain National Park!
Best stay we’ve had yet, home had beautiful views plenty of hills for kids to sled on. The hot tub was the best thing after a long cold day of sledding or walking the town. Will definitely book again!
Absolutely Amazing!!! We LOVED your property! It was the perfect place for us to explore Rocky Mountain National Park. We visited the park almost every day and saw TONS of wildlife. We hiked a whole bunch of different trails and drove up to the Alpine Visitors Center. Best views in my opinion!!
We absolutely loved the ping pong table and fooseball in the garage. House was clean and close to town and the park. The hot tub was great for chilly nights. We enjoyed our time there. There were a few days were the temps were warm and there were a few fans available, but I would bring more if you get hot easily.
We had a wonderful time at the property. It was a great location with the perfect amount of privacy. The house was very comfortable. The children enjoyed the game room. Loved that the hot tub was covered since it started snowing when we got there. It made for a wonderful scenery.
Our family of seven had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the house and took advantage of all it had to offer. We fixed all our meals in the well furnished kitchen, played games on the dining room table, and relaxed in the hot tub. The house was super clean and lived up to our expectations!
