Alki is an historic neighborhood on the Puget Sound famous for its laid-back lifestyle and scenic views of the Puget Sound, the Cascade Range in the east, the Olympic Mountains in the west, and the iconic Seattle skyline. Seattle was founded by the Denny Party in 1851 and Alki was where they settled. If you walk along the water, you will see several monuments and landmarks telling the story.
Top attractions include the Alki Beach Park with a golden stretch of sand, gentle waves for kayaking, and a waterfront walkway abuzz with bikers, Rollerbladers, joggers, and families soaking up the scenic views.
