About this property

One of a kind! Eclectic and Shabby Chic!!

This charming c1925 home has been recently renovated and upgraded and is now an adorable little home away from home. A lot of reclaimed material was used for the Renovation; all the shiplap is original to the house while the doors, shelves, and benches were made from the old Railroad Bridge Park decking. We love our home, and our location ( right off the main drag ), literally in the heart of our humble and quaint little town of Sequim. We hope that you will enjoy it as well! This property does not boast brand new everything, but beds have top of the line mattress, and fine linens.
The bathroom is stocked with plush towel and locally made hand soaps.
The kitchen has all the necessities to cook meals and plenty of dinnerware for five people. A dishwasher and cleaning supplies are provided.
It’s a clean, cozy, comfortable, and inspiring blend of new and old (rustic & contemporary). It has loads of character and a lovely gated outdoor living area.
We are new owners but made sure you will still have all the amenities that the previous owner included plus adding our own. The house is fun to look at and easy to enjoy :)

Guest access
Guest have access to everything. However, we do ask that any pit-fires are kept to a minimal size and starting at dusk or later.
Additionally, the outdoor bathtub is our take on a hot tub. It's easy to enjoy, just run the hose over and turn on the hot water. The lid is very heavy, so please be careful if you choose to use it, and make sure the top is secured and latched before using. No children should be left unsupervised.

Interaction with guests
We interact with our guest as needed. We have found that most guests prefer less communication during their stay, which we understand and respect. We also want our guest to know that if there is something they need, or if something comes up, we are only a phone call away.

Other things to note
Parking is on the east side of the fence, big enough for a large mobile home if needed.
There is a NON-SMOKING OF Or VAPING of ANY KIND! strict policy inside and outside the property; we respectfully ask that you abide by it.

I'm a retired stockbroker and an avid traveler, I live in Sequim on a lavender farm with my husband Donald, son Mark, my granddaughter Sage, also Max and Mazie Belle the Labradoodles.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I had traveled extensively throughout the world, love meeting people and have experienced staying in Bed&Breakfast, when this property came on the market we loved the location and of course Sequim where we retired to in 2005. It has been a labor of love to upgrade this charming little house and offered it to other travelers like us.

What makes this property unique

There is nothing like home but having all the conveniences while traveling is a plus, The Shack is cozy, private, fully equipped, convenient to shopping, plenty of parking along the grey fence, top restaurants, coffee houses. Park your car, leave the keys at home, and explore downtown Sequim. You are going to love it!
