What a wonderful find in Bryson City! This property is in a great location and has recently been renovated. I stayed here with girlfriends and they all loved the house the minute they walked inside. There are 2 master suites with king size beds and a bunk room for kids. We enjoyed a fire in the evenings and the hot tub. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in Bryson City.

The house was in a wonderful location; we walked to town every day we stayed in Bryson City. Also, sitting on the front porch was a nice bonus looking out of Bryson City. While an older home, the house was clean and reasonably appointed. It was a fun visit with a very nice place to "call home" for our visit!

Overall, we were not satisfied with many things. Most were simple that could have been easily fixed, but the host did not have people in place to service the house. The driveway is steep. This was not in the description. It's easily a 45 degree uphill climb with low clearance going up and down the drive. You have to go to a dead end and turn around to get up or down the driveway. I could see issues with older people with mobilty issues or tenants who drive cars that sit low to the ground. The house advertised all the essential supplies (soap, shampoo, body wash, dishwasher detergent) were provided. Most were empty and when we requested replacements, it did not happen. This could have been a simple fix. Provide them or don't advertise them. The indoor gas fireplace needed propane. We requested and the host responed I could go get it and he would reimburse. We didn't go get it and he sent someone to replace the second day of our three day stay. There is a nice hottub. However, after 20 minutes the breaker kicks off. The house was recently renovated and nicely decorated, The toilet seat in the master bath was broken and broken towel bars were under the bathroom sink.
