You literally cannot ask for better hosts then Suzie and Lester.They are welcoming and warm, there to help in every way possible, we felt completely at home. The house is cozy and clean, good ac, and the lanai is gorgeous, the area is quiet but close to parks and other activities. In short, perfect. Thank you Suzie and Lester, you will be missed.

Lovely stay in Paradise!

We highly recommend this property for its beauty, convenience to Hilo for the Merrie Monarch Festival, and gracious aloha spirit of hosts Susie and Lester. A wonderful 4 night stay!

Very lovely place

Susie and Lester are super nice. Love the neighborhood. Paradise cliff is just a short drive and we were super lucky to see two humpback whales from the cliff.

Beautiful gardens

This property has a beautiful property and garden. The place is nice and bright and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay and vacation. The outside shared deck was lovely to eat breakfast and dinner at. My kids loved the geckos everywhere and tried to find the frogs that sing at night.

If you thinking about- do it

We really enjoyed our stay in Susies and Les House. The both are so wonderful people and the house is full of little nice details. You also find all the little stuff for a wonderful stay. (herbs, oil, sauces, shampoo, books, cooling boxes for the beach, also a Flashlight for visiting the lava tubes and so much more) We are on a world travel tour - so we have not so many things with us, but we missed absolutely nothing. Amazing hospitality

Susie and Lester are amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and happy to answer all of our questions. The unit was immaculate and well stocked. The garden was beautiful and we were able to pick some fruit and vegetables to cook with. It was a home away from home.

Calm and relaxing Hawaii experience

We have stayed at this lovely place multiple times. The apartment has everything needed for a short term stay whether it's one night, a week or more. The yard is full of beautiful local plants and a delightful covered deck to sit and relax and take in the scenery. The hosts are amazing! They're welcoming and it's clear they are attentive to detail and are able to provide information about all the things available to do and see on the Hilo side of the big island. We highly recommend you experience aloha here!

Warm Hawaii Hospitality

My sister and I stayed here for a week and loved it. Apartment is clean and had everything needed for our stay. Our hosts were so kind and such lovely people. I loved early mornings and evenings on the beautiful lanai listening to the birds on their tropical property. The property was gated and secure. I recommend staying here and plan to return when I come back to the Big Island.

Affordable, Hospitable & Cozy Place

My wife & I stayed here for several nights and enjoyed our time here. Suzie & Lester were so kind & welcoming to us. They were helpful & informative while still giving us our space and never once being intrusive. And their book of recommendations (restaurants, beaches, things to do, etc.) was so helpful as well! You can tell that they have put so much thought & efforts into every aspect of hosting and they do a masterful job of it.
