Luxurious and Easy
We had the most wonderful stay here at La Santa Maria. We stayed for 8 nights and it felt like home by the time we left.
Staff:
Kind and responsible. The first night we got there we were out of water. One of the guards brought a case of water right away. The cleaning person came every day and did a thorough job. Rosalie was sweet and so accommodating to our every need. More pillows and towels, no problem. We had this unique issue with the oven being used, and Rosalie arranged for a brand-new oven to be brought immediately and replace our oven. That was really above and beyond.
Location:
The house is comfortable and truly the nicest option in SJDS. It sits on top of the hill right at the edge of town which makes the town, beaches and main stores and roads all easily accessible. However, being on the top of the hill, there is a magnificent view and you are not kept awake by the noise in town.
Comfort:
This was like staying in a hotel only you had a lot of room. The seating areas are sleek and the bedrooms are close to bathrooms. The shower pressure is great, the Wi-Fi was a little spotty, the porch and wading pool were perfect places to hang out and read. We happened to do a lot of cooking and the kitchen is big and the fixings are all new and sturdy.
If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable stay, I would highly suggest La Santa Maria.
