This 3,200 sq. ft. eco-luxury home, located in a progressive and environmentally friendly community, offers peaceful treetop living with breathtaking Pacific Ocean views. Great place - fantastic location! It's a short walk to an uncrowded beach. A bit farther to the surf at Playa Maderas. House is really comfortable with a very responsive and friendly staff. Away from the party scene at SJDS, but close enough to town for shopping and visiting. Good location to go on excursions to North and South. Definitely a real gem in Southern Nicaragua!

Perfect for our family vacation

My wife, 14 month old son and I, along with our 18 old nephew and 10 year old niece, spent a week at this fine home, and loved every minute of it. The house is spacious, comfortable and equipped with all the amenities one would need. We loved the hammocks and the hanging bed, the pool and the views of the jungle and ocean. Sadly, we did not see any monkeys but we think we heard them! The bedrooms were spacious and the open concept was amazing and resulted in the whole house being comfortable and negated the need for an air-conditioner. We visited many good beaches and restaurants, with Playa Hermosa being among our favorites. Special thanks to the team for helping me get a cake for my wife's birthday and for helping secure a reservation at Morgan's Rock for dinner. Communication throughout was impeccable with calls and emails returned quickly and information disseminated as needed. We loved the security and the maid service and it seems like the owners strive to ensure the house is well maintained. In all honesty, we had no complaints, only beautiful memories.

Fairy Tale Dream!

My stay at the villa was as if I were living in the enchanted forest! The minute you enter the Balcones de Majagual, you are greeted by their friendly staff. As you drive up to the villa, the first house belongs to the Chamorros, which is so cool! You are in a community with a former Nicaraguan President! One of my favorite authors also owns a house in Balcones, Gioconda Belli! Aside from the celebrity neighbors, the villa is the epitome of serenity. The villa is situated overlooking the Pacific Ocean and you would think there would be a lot of mosquitos and/or insects, but that was not my experience at all. As you lounge on the hammocks or the outside bed, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset or sunrise as the howler monkeys howl. The comfortable velvety blue couches are perfect to relax and watch a movie! (Great movie selection btw) This villa makes you feel as if you are in your luxury summer home. The rooms are fully equipped with every little amenity you can think of. I loved the blue theme throughout the house, it added a relaxing touch to my stay. The beaches are a short walk and the villa provides boogie boards! I hadn't had so much fun in a while! The waves are so inviting and it truly is a piece of heaven. There isn't anywhere else in Nicaragua I would want to stay than in Casa Cielo Azul! There isn't anywhere else like it!

What do you Think? The most beautiful villa I ever stayed in. The most incredible views, watching the sun set over the ocean and the lush hills. The house itself is beautifully furnished with an open/relaxing layout. The kitchen is fully equip, great for having a party, I love the BBQ grill. I especially love the yoga mats to use to stretch in. Listening to the monkeys every morning put a smile on my face. The best boogie boarding beaches were walking distances too. The staff and the hosts at the Balcones are very helpful. Thank you for a very relaxing vacation.
