Great place with georgeous views

Great place with great views. Some issues with AC and few showers. Location is an hike and need a 6 cylinder as it is up there. Little drive ti places.

We just returned from a week at Casa Hamacas in Pacific Marlin and it exceeded every expectation.The house itself is stunning — five spacious bedrooms, air conditioning throughout, wraparound terraces, and a pool that overlooks the bays with views you genuinely never get tired of. Every detail has been thought through, and the property is impeccably maintained.The location is ideal. Marsella beach is minutes away, San Juan del Sur is a quick drive, and Maderas — one of the most pristine beaches I've seen — is close enough for a morning surf session and back by lunch. We also had a memorable dinner at Pelican Eyes Resort, where the service and panoramic views were outstanding. The Christ of Misericordia statue is practically around the corner too, which made for a great afternoon walk.What truly set this experience apart was Edgar, the owner. From the moment we booked to well after we checked out, he was attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. He offered thoughtful local recommendations, responded to questions almost immediately, and handled every detail with care. You can tell he takes real pride in this property — and it shows.If you're looking for a beautiful home base to explore the San Juan del Sur coast with family or a group, Casa Hamacas is as good as it gets. We're already talking about coming back.Highly recommended.

Modern home with amazing view

Property is beautiful and sunset views take your breath away. The master bedroom is huge and has the most amazing views in addition to outdoor showers. We had a really great time. Check in was a little tough as we were not able to get a hold of the owner based on VRBO information and the house was not ready when we arrived. Luckily we were able to get a hold of another property manager and a couple came as fast as they could to get the house ready. The cleaning team was really nice and rushed to get everything ready as fast as possible. The house is beautiful and huge ...it easy to go over the allotted daily 50kw electricity consumption. All in all we has a great time and house is beautiful. The team did everything they could to get us in the property despite the inital issues communicatinh. There was some.construction going on in the patio and parking area.

Gorgeous view but......

Pros: beautiful view, friendly staff, comfortable, not far from beaches by car, air conditioning in bedrooms work very well. Nice bedrooms upstairs and by the main living room. Cons: one of the bedrooms which would be considered the maids quarters since it’s right next to the kitchen has a very dingy bathroom, it was very dirty under the sink, bathroom door has a hole in the door like it was punched if. This bedroom has only a small window. Right by this bedroom there is a hall with a pair of bunk beds, no window and a propane gas is hooked right next to the beds. Since we complained it was removed. Jacuzzi did not work. Landscaping is poor. Entrance to the house has steps that are not in good condition. Overall we had a fun time with the family. If you rent this home bring your own corkscrew.

Gorgeous Views on a Beautiful Coast

We had 11 members of our family staying for ten days in July and we had a wonderful time. The house is modern and has breathtaking views of the pacific ocean and Nacascola Bay. It is right below the statue of Christo de Rey which is lit up at night and very beautiful. It is an easy way to always locate the house. Edgard could not have been more helpful in all of the planning stages of the trip. He even helped us get a rental pick up at a good price. The house is large and nearly every room has a view. The pool is prefect size and is designed for lounging with a view. The master bedroom is very spacious and has an enormous jacuzzi bath tub. The security is very strong with guard controlled gates and a permanent guard at the house. It is a great convenience to have Flor, the cook and housecleaner, available to take care of the cleaning and a lot of the food preparation. Both she and Lenin (the man who helps care for the house) were helpful and always available. We lost power on a few occasions but this house is one of the few that has a back up generator which means that at least the refrigerator and lights can work when the main power goes down. The A/C works well in all of the rooms but power is expensive in Nicaragua. We only had a couple of minor issues. Some of the bathrooms have poor water pressure. For a large group, they do need more utensils and plates. Finally, the flies were pretty significant when we were there. While there are no screens, if you want to close the doors and turn on the A/C, the flies largely disappear. The issues were only slight inconveniences but would not detract from a great overall experience. We highly recommend the house for those wanting a unique, first class experience.

Beautiful modern villa

The first thing that you will notice is the wonderful view on Nacascolo Bay wich is probably the best view you will find around, even better than the views on San Juan del Sur bay. The villa and perimeter are very safe and all the staff is very helpful. It is quite a steep ride to get the villa, so a car is useful or good legs! We were a party of eleven and had plenty of room including a bathroom for everyone. The facilities are very modern and the A/C works great. In summary, we had a great time, there are so many things to do around San Juan and the villa is very well located. I would definitely recommend the house, i don't think you can't get better value for the money.

Perfect vacation! You won't regret this rental!

My group of 9 stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect! The owner is very helpful and makes sure you are treated well. The cook, Flor, was an excellent cook! She always made sure the house was clean. One thing that I loved the most was that the house was very secure. There's a guard before you enter the house and one that lives right under the house. It made us feel safe. All in all, this house was amazing! We loved everything about it. The views of the mountains and ocean are breathtaking.

Deep lounge in paradise!!!

My party of 4 stayed here for 7 nights and were given the royal treatment by the owner and his staff. The house is brand new and the owner insures your stay is comfortable. Not only is the design of the house modern and top notch, but the views and surroundings are amazing. San Juan del Sur is already beautiful in itself, but there's nothing like waking up and enjoying breakfast and coffee (made by your own personal housekeeper) right on your own personal pool deck, with views that stretch across Nacascolo Bay and beyond. You are on top of the mountain, eye level with the hawks that soar in the valley in front of you. It's absolutely amazing. It's not a question of IF I go back...but a question of WHEN I go back. Yes, there are several houses to choose from in San Juan del Sur. But knowing how deep lounge and lost in paradise you can get here, while getting the best service one can ask for from the owner and his staff, I have no need to look elsewhere upon my return. Don't hesitate if you're considering a vacation to SJDS...book this house!!!
