The house does sit right on Route 100 which is a busy road.
DRIVING TO THE MOUNTAIN:
This property is 14 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort (with no traffic). To take the back road and avoid the traffic on Mountain Road, turn south onto VT-100S, take an immediate right at The Shaw’s onto West Hill Rd for 0.7 miles, turn left onto Mayo Farm Rd for 0.5 miles, turn left onto Weeks Hill Rd for 0.3 miles, turn right onto VT-108/Mountain Rd for 6.9 miles. Arrived.
The mountain charges for parking on Friday, Saturday and Sundays but parking is free Mon-Thursday).
However, if you don’t want to pay for parking, we recommend the following options:
Park at one of the free lots closest to the mountain. There are two options, the Cross Country Center (5281 Mountain Road, Stowe) lot or the Toll House Lift Lot which is on your left as you get close to the mountain (but get there really early!). Once there’s enough snow and this lift is running you won’t have to take the shuttle to main lodge you can just ride the lift from there.
Or, park in one of the two lots on the way to the mountain, The Stowe Town Hall (67 Main Street, Stowe) or the Stowe Events Field (667 Weeks Hill Road, Stowe).
