Highly Dissatisfied Vbro Experience – Houston, TX!!While I understand that Houston is generally a warm city, the day of our arrival was seasonably cold being January is Houston’s winter, and unfortunately the property had no working heat. This made the home extremely uncomfortable and unsafe given the 40* degree temperatures at night.Upon check-in, two space heaters were provided, but even after running them for several hours while we toured the city, the house remained freezing when we arrived back to the home later that evening. The cold persisted throughout the entire stay. At night, we were forced to close the bedroom door to trap what little heat we could, which is not an acceptable solution for a rental property in cold weather.More concerning and COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE was the fact the property was double booked and sometime after 1:00 a.m., 3 strange men who were given the same access code entered the property. This woke up my sister and cousin, two women whom were sleeping inside the same room for warmth. They were terrified, not knowing who was in the home or why strangers were entering the space we had rented.Out of fear for their safety, 911 was immediately called, as they hid in the shower of the master bedroom, my sister called me as I was out on a date, while my cousin remained on the phone with 911 which was a deeply traumatic experience for everyone involved. No guest should EVER be woken up in the middle of the night by unknown individuals inside
