About this property
Vintage Airstream Tiny House on Urban Flower Farm
Enjoy a unique stay in the middle of Atlanta. This vintage 1984 Airstream is located on an urban farm. Recently renovated, the space has a full bathroom, keurig, full size mattress, dining table, cooktop, toaster oven, TV and internet. Take a break from the bustle of the city and visit with our chickens. Or, check out the farm, where you will find rows of beautiful wildflowers. We also provide fresh eggs when available.
Within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, parks & zoo.
We're right in the middle of the city, a short distance from many attractions. But when you set foot on the farm, you'll feel like your miles away.
The Airstream is heated by two space heaters. The ac works quite well in the summer.
The water heater is small - enjoy the glamping experience! You can get about a 5 minute shower or a good excuse for skipping it altogether.
The couch bed works for two people, but it’s not comfortable. It’s an old airstream foldout couch and better for kids.
Guests are welcome to feed leftover food scraps to the chickens and walk the farm. We just ask that you stay on the paths and be mindful of the farmer.
I like meeting guests, but always give them the time and space to enjoy their stay as they wish.
The Summerhill neighborhood of Atlanta was one of the city’s oldest African-American communities and was once a flourishing retail district with a diverse community. Famous entertainers and influential city leaders like former heavyweight champion boxer Evander Holyfield, singer Gladys Knight, and business mogul and philanthropist Herman Russell called Summerhill home.
Today, Summerhill is a vibrant Intown neighborhood with many local shops and restaurants. It's worth taking a walk down Georgia Ave just to see all the murals, but the food options are also enticing! Check out Little Tart Bakeshop, Big Softie, Halfway Crooks Brewery, Hero Donuts, Little Bear, Hot Dog Pete's, Wood's Chapel BBQ, Junior's Pizza and Talat Market. We're only a few blocks to Grant Park, Beltline Trail, 2 miles to Centennial Olympic Park, Philips Arena, CNN, world of Coke, and Georgia Aquarium.
Lyft and Uber are readily available.
Marta Train is about 1.5 miles away
This is a vintage 1984 Airstream Excella; there are some quirks. The water heater is small.
We treat for pests but you may see the occasional cockroach or bug.
Also, there is a tiny house located on the property that is also rented out on Airbnb.
Pets are welcome for a fee. The first pet is $45, second one is $20
