Thank you for your feedback. I am always committed to clear and prompt communication with all my guests, and I am sorry to hear that your experience suggested otherwise. Regarding the soap, our accommodation did not provided amenities at the time, but knowing there was a bottle available, I made it accessible for your use. For context, we now provide basic amenities for all guests. Concerning the towels, I explained where additional towels could be found, and the other guest understood perfectly, so no further issues arose. Regarding the pool door, I simply demonstrated how to open it for safety, and it was never my intention to imply that guests should have figured it out on their own. As for my question about previous rental experience, it was meant solely to explain routine house procedures during check-out, not to cause offense. I do not know why Ms Debbie had this perception, as communication with my guests is consistently rated as excellent in all other reviews. Nevertheless, I regret any misunderstanding, which may have been influenced by my being a native Portuguese speaker.

You’re always welcome 🌸 about the milk, bread and other basic food, I appreciate your recommendation. That’s why I always ask previously if guests need anything else.

In summer there’s mosquitos everywhere. And we are a tropical island… I don’t feel it faire to mention like the problem is my place… I am so sorry. Lived in the villa for 8 years with my family and never got fans because never was needed. Just bought it if it makes sense for some guests, with all good intention… always asked if it was everything ok and you always said “yes”… if you told me what you didn’t like, I could try to optimize it for you. My goal is my guests having a wonderful time in Susy’s Garden and in Madeira Island

Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire et pour vos mots si gentils au sujet de la maison, de la piscine et de mon accueil. Je suis ravie que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour à Funchal. Concernant les chiens du voisinage, à Madère comme dans le reste du Portugal, presque chaque famille a un animal de compagnie. Il peut donc arriver que, si l’un d’eux aboie, les autres répondent. Cela reste toutefois une situation ponctuelle, et j’ai déjà eu l’occasion d’en discuter avec certains propriétaires afin que cela ne gêne pas la tranquillité de mes hôtes. Votre retour est très précieux et je serai heureuse de vous accueillir à nouveau 🌸
