Lovely 19th century country house with large garden

Charming house with all modern amenities. Fully equipped kitchen. Ground floor: kitchen, bathroom, 19th century style dining-room and sitting-room, a separate TV-room (with a sofa bed) and one single bedroom. Upstairs: two big bedrooms with 2 beds in each and a bunk bed in one of them (= 6 beds). Veranda with a wonderful view over garden and parkway.

The house is situated on a farm with other houses, but has a large private garden. The typical Swedish forest is just round the corner and gives possibilities to long walks. You find hiking trails nearby. The house is perfect for recreation in peace and quiet close to the Swedish nature. For those who want activities there is fishing, canoeing and golf possibilities within a few km. There are several lakes within a distance of 5 - 15 km. You find tourists' attractions such as the Middle Age manor Torpa Stenhus, Borås and its zoo, museums and shopping, Limmared with antiques shops and glass museum and the shopping centre Ullared within a distance between 35-60 km away. For winter activities you have 55 km to Isaberg Mountain Resort, the largest ski resort in south Sweden.

NB: Bed linen and towels not included, but can be rented.

Textiles and shopping: The house is centrally situated in a part of Sweden famous for its textile production: in Mark (40 km west) you can buy out-let towels, bed-linen, curtains, table-cloths, carpets and fantastic textiles for your own sewing. In Gällstad (60 km North-East), in Borås (50 km north) and Ullared (40 km South-West) you find Sweden's most famous shopping centres with a variety of shops.

Magical place

it has been an absolute pleasure to live with 2 families, in a lovely peaceful and magical environment. we were there for a short time, but got to see a lot of beautiful nature. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, erholsamen Umgebung.In der näheren Umgebung (max. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto) gibt es mehrere schöne Badeseen. Auch für Kanufahrten bieten sich verschiedene Möglichkeiten. Der Gekås-Supermarkt ist ebenfalls gut erreichbar – etwa 45 Minuten entfernt.Ein Hinweis: Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist recht steil und könnte für manche etwas herausfordernd sein.

Stort och rymligt hus med många sovplatser. Verkligen på landet som passade bra IOM att vi hade med oss våra hundar. Ett minus är trappan upp till öv då barnen behövde sova där och trappan upp brant och hal. Stora rum på nv som skulle kunna nyttjas bättre. Vi är nöjda!!

Historisches Leben

Unser Urlaub in dieser historischer Villa hat uns ein Gefühl für das 19.Jh. hinterlassen. So liebevoll und mit vielen Details eingerichtet, dass jeder Tag wie ein spannender Museumsbesuch war, bei dem wir alles anfassen und ausprobieren konnten. Alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man für einen wundervollen Urlaub braucht, bietet dieses Haus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Beeindruckend daher die Atmosphäre, die uns umgeben hat und ein Gefühl von zu Hause hinterlässt. Die beiden Vermieterinnen haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, in Schweden zu Hause zu sein.

Geweldig Landhuis

Wij hebben erg genoten van de week vakantie in dit prachtige landhuis. Het verdiend een opknapbeurt zodat vele na ons ook kunnen blijven genieten van deze mooie locatie uit 1826. De wifi liet ons regelmatig in de steek. De eigenaars wonen nabij en vertelde dat er in de toekomst een vaste aansluiting kwam. We kregen netjes een bedrag terug voor dit ongemak.

Wunderschöner Urlaub im antiken Haus

Das Objekt ist ca. 4 km von Ö.Frölunda entfernt und liegt abseits der Strasse. nach 12 km Ist man in der nächst größeren Stadt Sveljunga, mit allem was man so benötigt. Das Haus ansich ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, ja man fühlt sich sogar als wäre man in der Zeit ca 200 Jahre zurück. Wir haben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen und den Charme dieses wunderbar eingerichtetem Haus. Der Hund und die Kinder fühlten sich ebenfalls sehr wohl, man muss sich keine Gedanken um sie machen, sie hatten sehr viel Platz. Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage!

Alte Villa in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben hier zu viert eine Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist Baujahr 1820 und mit charme eingerichtet. Die Aussenfassade ist allerdings stark renovierungsbedurftig, ebenso das Badezimmer. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, was man so benötigt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein- uns Auschecken alles unkompliziert!

Vi var glade for vores ophold i den stemningsfulde slægtsgård. Det var et gammelt hus, uden megen teknik og moderniteter, men der var hyggeligt og alt det vi havde brug for. Der var rent og rigeligt med service og bestik osv. og masser af plads til 3 generationer.

Groß, schön und sauber

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig. Es ist wirklich groß und bietet Platz für 6 - 8 Personen. Es ist sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Sämtliche elektrischen Geräte (in Küche, Wohnzimmer u. Bad) funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Vermieter, die in Nachbarhäusern wohnen sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Rasengrundstück, das zum Haus gehört ist groß, sodass man sich ausruhen und die Kinder noch Platz zum Ballspielen haben. Es gibt im Haus auch Spiele für drinnen u. draußen (Boule, Federball, Kupp). Zum See läuft man ca 20 Min. durch den Wald. Ein weiterer See ist ca. 15 Min. Fahrzeit entfernt, dieser gehört zur Ortsgemeinde. Beide Seen sind ruhig gelegen. Im Ort Svenljunga (ca. 20 Min Fahrzeit - für Schweden fast nichts) gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Nach Boras ist es nicht weit und auch zur Küste nach Varberg ist es nicht zu weit (ca. 1 Std. Fahrzeit). Mehrere kleinere Flüsschen laden zum Kanufahren ein. Hier kann man sich wirklich gut erholen und den Alltag hinter sich lassen!
