A red & white timber house of the 17th century. Here is where the traditional art of building blockhouses & modcons meet.
The 1st floor comprises of 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen & a bathroom with shower. The house has a new kitchen with all facilities such as German satellite TV. The rental price also includes the wireless internet access.

In front of the house there is a big garden that invites your kids to play & romp around. The garden, from which you can enjoy the beautiful evening sun, is equipped with garden furniture & a BBQ. At the same time you can enjoy the stunning views of meadows, mountains & woods.

Gravsjön (lake): 2 km to get to the lake Gravsjön with its beach & the small idyllic Ile with BBQ-area. Here you also can catch pikes & rosefish. Herefore you need to buy a fishing card of 5 € from the owners.
At the river Ätran which is 700 m away from the house you can go fishing, canoeing & even have a BBQ at its riverbank BBQ-area. During a certain period we even can offer you a wonderful experience on our raft having a BBQ on it while gently drifting down the river.

Café Keramikstube Ulfshed / Klevs Gästgifveri: 6.3 km to get to the cosy Café Ulfshed where one can buy wonderful ceramics, take a coffee break or just play some crazy golf on its very unique golf course. 13 km to the guest house Klevs Gästgifveri. The Gästgifveri is located in the neighbourhood of the Mårdaklevs golf course. Here you can dine to reasonable prices. Probably, this restaurant has been listed due to its very old genesis starting in 1600. There is also a museum in this historical area which is been run by the nature conservancy association.

Gekås Ullared / Zoo Borås: The famous Swedish shopping centre of Gekås is located 41 km from Östra Frölund. Here you will find everything you wish for at very convenient prices.
52 km to the animal parc of Borås, one of Sweden's most beautiful animal parks.

Wonderful Swedish House

We had a great time in Östra Frölunda with our three kids. The old house is in a perfect shape, fondly renovated and lovingly furnished. It is so cosy there, we would have loved to stay longer! Thanks to Peter, who was very friendly, hope we can come back sometime!

Edvinhuset, our new swedish little paradise

We can't but confirm the comments below. Our two weeks stay in Edvinhuset was absolutely marvelous! The house is well equipped, clean, decorated with much taste (as you can see on the pictures), and has a very friendly, positive vibe, it just has this swedish aura… The environment is very calm, peaceful. Despite the autumn and cooler temperatures, the surroundings were gorgeous, particularly the lake 2km further, in our opinion one of the nicest lakes in the area. We made some bicycles trips around there and enjoyed the beautiful, once again typically swedish sceneries, with its red houses scattered over the hills. A last word to the owners Peter and Annica, who were amazingly friendly, careful for their guests and largely contributed to this feeling of well-being. Congratulations for keeping this place so authentic, inspiring and revitalizing. And as an austrian ex-body builder once said: we'll be back! Mick and Kath

Unser erster Schweden Urlaub in einem Haus von besonderer Bedeutung und tollen Vermietern.

Unser Urlaub mit Hund im Edvinshuset war insgesamt sehr erholsam und geprägt von der schönen Natur Schwedens. Annica und Peter, die nicht weit entfernt wohnen, sind als Vermieter des Objektes sehr zuvorkommend und tragen mit ihrer sehr netten und ruhigen Art dazu bei, dass man seinen Urlaub am liebsten verlängern würde. Uns haben am meisten die Natur, die Ausflüge auf dem eigenem Floß (mit Motor) , das Angeln und das Pilze sammeln imponiert. Und natürlich die tolle Atmosphäre im und rund um das Objekt. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und zum abschalten. Auch die Tage an denen es geregnet hat, haben uns nichts ausgemacht, da uns im Edvinshuset an nichts gefehlt hat und wir die Tage mit : kochen, lesen, streamen (top störungsfreies wlan vorhanden) oder Musikhören (top Bluetooth Box vorhanden) verbringen konnten. Insgesamt 5 von 5 Sternen von uns und eine klare Empfehlung! Anna, Bartek und der kleine Hund Nela

Fantastische vakantie

Het verblijf bestaat uit een ruime eerste verdieping. Alles is netjes gerenoveerd en de keuken is goed uitgerust. De badkamer is klein maar de douche is wel goed. Klein minpuntje is de steile trap maar die authentiek dus daar kunnen ze weinig aan veranderen. Dat was ons bij het boeken niet helemaal duidelijk.

Ruhiger und entspannter Aufenthalt

Wir haben den Aufenthalt als Familie sehr genossen, es war entspannt, in einer ruhigen, abgeschiedenen Lage und in einem sehr gemütlichen Haus. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und offen. Wir konnten sogar selber Kartoffeln ernten. Wir empfehlen den Aufenthalt sehr gern weiter.

Dejligt ophold

Dejlig bolig - meget charmerende. Super vært som var meget behjælpelig. Der står man kan have hund med hvilket vi overvejede, men gjorde det ikke. Det var vi glade for vi ikke gjorde, det var boligen ikke egnet til. ( vi har en stor hund) Men helt sikkert et sted vi vil overveje igen, skønne omgivelser.

Wir haben die Zeit im und um dieses historische Schwedenhaus sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und stets hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt haben. Das Floß auf dem See ist ein Muss, hier man kann traumhafte Stunden mitten in der Natur verbringen. Auch gibt es in der Umgebung einiges zu erleben und entdecken: Kanu fahren in Kalv, Gräne Gruva mit dem Trollstieg oder Ausflüge nach Varberg, Boras und natürlich Ullared. Dank Peters Tipps konnten wir abends sogar einen Elch in der Nähe sehen. Kurzum: Für uns war es ein gelungener Urlaub, vielen Dank dafür!

Charmerende juleferie i Edvinhuset

Dejlig feriested i meget stille omgivelser. Gode muligheder for vandreture og naturoplevelser i området. Ferieboligen på 1. sal er charmerende indrettet. Stueetagen er tom og Peter og Annica bor liver overfor i et andet hus. Dejlig udsigt over markerne. Peter havde sørget for både juletræ og lyskæder. Vi giver Edvinhuset vore bedste anbefalinger!

Svensk landlig skovidyl

Dejlig roligt og naturskønt feriested med gode muligheder for naturoplevelser tæt på huset. Ferieboligen er hyggeligt indrettet på 1. salen i originalt gammelt hus. Stue-etage står tom, og værterne bor i andet hus på grunden. Fin udsigt over marker og skove og let adgang til skoven bagved huset, hvor vi gik, løb og cyklede mange ture. Vi lånte tømmerflåde til fiskeri på nærliggende sø af værterne. Ferieboligen var ren og pæn, og værterne var både hjælpsomme og særdeles venlige. Badeværelset er lidt lille men fungerer fint med bruser. Vi vender gerne tilbage!

Rustic charm

A lovely wooden first floor living space. House well equipped and furnished. Only drawback is the bathroom but despite its compact size it does seem to work well - efficient use of space!! Garden great with lovely views. Super to have use of the raft and motor - the lake is tranquility and peace personified. Felt very welcome during our time in the house. Great if you love being outdoors - biking and swimming especially.

schönes altes Schwedenhaus

Hallo Peter, Annika und Nessie, haben uns in dem schönen alten Schwedenhaus sehr wohlgefühlt, alles war vorhanden was man so braucht. Auch die Umgebung war sehr schön. Als Ausflugsziel ist die Burg Torpa Stenhus emfehlenswert Auch die Brokvarn Mühle bei Öxabäck ist einen Besuch wert, man kann dort schöne Spaziergänge machen. gemütliches Edvinshuset

Wir können uns den anderen Rezensionen nur anschließen. Auch wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Man hat viel Platz und auch das Grundstück ist sehr groß. Von hier aus kann man schöne Spaziergänge unternehmen. In naher Umgebung befinden sich viele traumhaft schöne Seen mit tollen Badestellen und Wanderwegen. Wir haben uns hier sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen und ihr lieber Hund hat besonders unseren Kindern Freude bereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Herziges Schwedenhaus mit superlieben Gastgebern

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Weihnachtszeit in dem gemütlichen Häuschen von Annica und Peter. Das Haus ist auf einer Seite urig, auf der anderen sehr modern ausgestattet...also absolute Wohlfühlgarantie. Außerdem waren unsere Gastgeber der Hammer! Immer parat bei Problemen, offen und unkompliziert. Peter organisierte uns sogar für Heilig Abend einen Weihnachtsbaum samt Schmuck und Lichterkette! Die Ferien bei Annica und Peter sind wohl kaum zu toppen! Vielen lieben Dank für Alles! Noreen und Christian aus der Schweiz

Und ein sehr gemütliches Schwedenhaus mit urigem Charme! Freundliche Vermieter trugen zu einer guten Atmosphäre bei. Vier Fahrräder und ein Kanu machten die Ausflüge zum nahe gelegenen See noch schöner. Insgesamt: Ein ruhiger naturnaher Ort zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen.
