The host was communicative enough leading up to the trip and over text in general, but we never saw them and they took a long time to actually respond to any issues. Unfortunately there were a lot of issues: there was no coffee maker and it took a couple days to get one. The kitchen generally wasn’t stocked with everything you’d expect in a kitchen. The garbage disposal didn’t work at all, and we weren’t informed of that leading to a clogged sink we had to address ourselves. The chairs in the living room were dirty and literally falling apart. The sofa was also very dirty and didn’t pull out to a bed as was implied by the listing. The blinds were tattered and worn and didn’t roll up all the way. The beds were falling apart as well with the headboard not even attached and they had these slippery mattress protectors on them that made them very uncomfortable. The front door handle kept falling off when we tried to exit the apartment. And the biggest issu of all: the television simply stopped working a few days into the trip. The picture just faded to black one day. And despite letting the host know immediately it took the several days to get a technician out to look at it. The fix was just moving a TV from a different apartment in, which they could have done day 1.
