Welcome to Cozy Bear Cabin, your family-owned "home base" for the ultimate Brown County experience. We’ve recently upgraded your stay with brand new premium mattresses and high-end linens in every room because we believe a great vacation starts with a perfect night’s sleep.

Whether you're here for Nashville's charm (5 mins away), a Bloomington graduation (15 mins away), or the trails of Brown County State Park (1 mile away), Cozy Bear offers the ultimate blend of rustic heart and modern luxury.

Last year, we took the leap to become the new owners of these cabins. Our mission? Keeping the family-owned vibe alive while upgrading the essentials—think top-tier tech and the dreamiest mattresses you’ll ever sleep on. We host because we want you to fall in love with the magic of these woods just like our family did generations ago.

Why they chose this property

What we love most about this specific spot is the quiet. Even though Nashville is just down the road, this spot feels deeply connected to the woods. We love the large backyards, the mature trees, and the way the morning mist hangs over the hills here. It’s the kind of place where neighbors wave but mostly leave you to your peace. It’s our favorite launching pad for hiking in the State Park or browsing the local art scene.
