The Neighborhood:
The Kenneth Manor is located in Savannah's beautiful Victorian District, one of the city's most charming and walkable historic neighborhoods.
Just a short stroll from the iconic Forsyth Park, you'll find yourself surrounded by tree-lined streets, beautifully preserved Victorian homes, cozy cafés, local bakeries, boutiques, neighborhood restaurants, and the timeless charm that makes Savannah so unforgettable.
Start your morning with coffee from a nearby café before wandering beneath the famous live oaks of Forsyth Park. Spend the afternoon exploring Savannah's historic squares, unique shops, museums, art galleries, and River Street, then enjoy an easy walk home through one of the city's most picturesque neighborhoods.
Unlike staying in the busy downtown core, The Henry House offers the best of both worlds—a peaceful residential setting where you can truly relax, while still being close enough to experience everything Savannah has to offer.
Whether you're visiting for a weekend getaway, reconnecting with family, or exploring the city with friends, you'll quickly discover why so many visitors fall in love with this neighborhood.
Getting Around:
One of the best things about staying at Kenneth Manor is that you can leave your car behind and experience Savannah the way locals do.
The Historic District is wonderfully walkable, with beautiful parks, historic squares, cafés, boutiques, restaurants, and galleries all within easy reach. A leisurely stroll is often the best way to discover the city's hidden gems.
If you'd like to explore a little farther, here are a few of our favorite ways to get around:

Savannah's complimentary Downtown Transportation (DOT) shuttle makes it easy to explore the Historic District without worrying about parking. It's a convenient way to visit River Street, City Market, Forsyth Park, and many of Savannah's most popular attractions.
🚲 Pedicabs
Need a break from walking? Pedicabs are a fun way to get around while learning a little local history along the way. They're commonly found near River Street and other popular tourist areas.
⛴️ Savannah Belles Ferry
Hop aboard the free Savannah Belles Ferry for a scenic ride across the Savannah River to Hutchinson Island and the Savannah Convention Center. It's a relaxing way to enjoy the waterfront and offers beautiful views of the city skyline.
