It’s a beautiful cabin. However, the home is overrun with ladybugs. They were all over the walls, couches, tables, lights etc. We couldn’t eat at the table due to them crawling in our plates and up our cups. We were woken up to bugs on our face. Constantly knocking them off of us throughout the day. I did let the host know, & was told that bug spray for your skin was ordered and would be delivered the next day. Nothing was ever delivered in the 7 days we stayed. When I messaged the host about the bug spray when we left, he ignored it & said thanks for leaving the home in good condition. There is a small paragraph in the little welcome book that talks about the ladybugs causing issues in spring and fall and how they do not compensate for them. We stayed from December-January. The ladybug issue needs to be addressed in the initial listing. When you have children that are woken up by bugs on their face & crawling all over the house, couches, tables, etc, the house should NOT be rented to anyone as it poses health hazards. I grew up here in the Smokies, I am no stranger to bugs and creatures in the mountain. This was beyond livable and shame on the owner for acknowledging the bugs in the papers after you get there, but not putting it on the initial listing.
