We stayed at this cabin 2 years ago and it was so comfy for our family of 5 that we decided to stay again. Comfortable beds, and a beautiful view from the back balcony!
Your cabin was the perfect setting and setup for our group gathering for a Christmas get away. We loved the location and all the amenities. Thanks for a comfy, cozy and memorable Christmas with friends.
This was one of the best stocked cabins we’ve ever stayed in. The cocoa station and game room were huge hits with the kids. I enjoyed the amazingly sunrise and views from the porch.
It was very quiet and peaceful! We picked the location to be near the beauty of the Smokey Mountains but avoid the crowds. We even saw a bear roaming a couple streets away in the community. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
Property was beautiful. Well prepared with great kitchen. Community pool much smaller than appeared & sadly was out of commission during our stay which was really the only negative!
The cabin was exactly as described but the pictures do not do it justice. It is warm and inviting, the mountains can be seen from every window. The walk around porch was our favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee and night tea. It was convenient to get where we wanted to go and far enough from the hustle and bustle to relax.
This was a very cozy clean and comfortable cabin. The cabin is far away from all the crazy in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. To drive to Gatlinburg is about 30 min from the cabin and it is through back roads so no traffic. We loved this spacious cabin with all its amenities. The pool is beautiful and it was a plus that the restaurant was open. We really enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again.
We came up to the mountains to get out of the heat. Townsend is a lovely place, lots of river float trips going on, but it is not commercial like Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Lots of hiking trails and parks. If you enjoy golfing, the Laurel Valley Golf Course is right on the property. It's a pristine quiet community. The Company distillery is a great place to visit. There's a carry out restaurant attached that has delicious pub food. There are several restaurants that range from simple to higher end dining, as well. We found the Cade Cove Winery a fun place to visit, mostly sweet wines, with a few drier choices. There was even a cute Catholic church in town right on the river! One note of caution: there are lots of bear. Do not leave food in your car or on your deck. Follow garbage disposal rules exactly! A bear actually got in our truck bc we didn't lock the doors. Fortunately, no food so they didn't go in further. They were rude, though and left the door open!
We had a wonderful time! The house was comfortable and cozy and my kids had a blast playing air hockey and foosball in the game room downstairs. They also enjoyed the sweet children’s books that were available and bird watching from the deck. My husband and I enjoyed many peaceful moments on the porch swing.
The location is fantastic and we got out for lots hikes in the National Park, an easy 15 minute drive from the house. A crazy storm blew across the state on the day we were supposed to leave, so instead of driving home through hail and tornadoes, we called to see if we could extend our stay another night. Doing this was quick and easy and we were so glad we were able to hunker and down and stay safe and cozy in this lovely spot.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this lovely cabin!
I couldn’t make it to the family get together this year and a couple of my uncles really wanted to reach out and spend some quality time together. The cabin was PERFECT!!! We could all sit around talking in any room or on the decks or even down by the fire pit area. We had wonderful clean rooms to sleep in!!! Everyone was happy about the choice!!! Even if I’m not coming down with the exact same group I’ll be using the same booking group!!! Chad was so helpful and easy to work with! I even forgot my cane in the house and he’s sending it back to me!
This cabin is amazing! You expect the inside to be clean and beautiful, but even the outside balconies were clean and well maintained. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't already in the cabin and we cooked a few times. You have to go through a guard tower to get to the property, as well as a golf course, so the area was beyond our expectations and we felt safe during our stay. We'll be staying here again on our next trip through Gatlinburg.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable with outstanding views from two balconies. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable, and three bathrooms are a big plus! Our granddaughter loved the fire pit and the gameroom! The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. What a great place for family to get together!
We had a lot of fun staying here. We saw a bear our first night and our last. The cabin was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed for a fun stay
We had the best weekend at this cabin. Game room was fun… having 3 bathrooms was great. The coffee pot is not a keurig, so pack regular coffee instead of kcups. Wonderful atmosphere!!
