About the host
Hosted by Cyndie Cornelius
We arrived in the Smokies over 16 years ago. Our first trip was a fly fishing adventure. Until then, my only Smokies adventure had been to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Townsend proved to be an oasis in the mountains. The setting is serene and peaceful and without the trappings of the more recognized areas. Trout were not the only things hooked that weekend... we were as well. Just one year later, we arrived in Townsend to live full time. It took a year to make it happen, but we were determined to make the Smokies our home. We surely can not imagine living anywhere else. Waking every morning to the sunrise over the mountains, and the sights and sounds of the birds and other wild life living in the area, is an unbelievable experience.
It has been our objective to educate others about the wonders of living here in this beautiful place and we have done our best to create an environment that will hopefully give our guests a place to call home when they come to visit. The number of returning guests has grown greatly in the past years. If your dates of arrival are not available for this cabin, try our other cabins also on VRBO.
