About this property

Beautiful Victorian Home Available for Sabbatical Year

Our historic home is a 5 minute walk to the cafes, shops and restaurants in downtown Amherst. Our home is also walking distance (also 5 minutes) to UMASS Amherst and Amherst College. The wrap-around porch is a wonderful place to relax and entertain friends and watch the sunset. There are 6 bedrooms (or 5 bedrooms/1 office), 2.5 bathrooms, a music room, living room, dining room and modern kitchen and kitchen nook, which we use for crafting. We have new mini splits which provide both air conditioning and heat. There is a working fireplace in the living room. The yard has a colorful perennial garden and is fenced in. Dogs are welcome. The driveway fits several cars. The neighborhood is extremely friendly. The house has a level 2 electric car charger.
