Cabin is as shown in the pictures except for the mountain view
The cabin was clean and decorated well. The bed was comfortable. The drive up to the cabin seemed sketchy at first but after a couple of trips up and down it became pretty easy. The view is listed as mountain view but with the leaves on the trees that was blocked. It was nice sitting on the deck because it was so quiet and peaceful. The only thing I see could be improved is the lighting in the downstairs bath. A light above the mirror would have been greatly appreciated. I would surely rent this cabin again.

Property was very nice and
Property was very nice and just as described online. The location was a bit deceiving however; I did not realize how difficult it would be to get to the cabin itself, nor how far it would be from the check-in location. It was cozy and inviting, even decorated all up for Christmas. The small things I would recommend doing is improving the location of the check-in, making sure batteries for the remote controls at the property are working (the one remote didn't work and the batteries are completely corroded), leaving flashlights for guest use is nice especially since we lost power during our stay, but there were no batteries for either flashlight, and there's some sort of wildlife under the cabin that kept us up at night.

Caught Ya Peekin Fall Weekend Stay
Being our first time to TN, really had no idea how difficult it would be to get to the cabin on the mountain. First off, you have to go pretty significantly out of your way to get to the rental office. Then, no one is around to speak with; you just get your welcome packet with needed information for the cabin out of a mailbox; make sure you take your own and not someone else's! Then drive to this beauty and be prepared for a steep trek, with lots of switchbacks. However, the cabin itself was awesome! Very clean, very cozy, gas fireplace, and when we went, they had it decorated for Christmas, complete with a small lit tree. It was so homey and nice! There's a washer/dryer, all kitchen equipment you should need, ample towels and washcloths, etc. Game room was nice for a quick game of pool or bring your own xbox games. Access was from the one end of the parkway in Pigeon Forge, so once you venture down off the mountain, you can quickly be in the action of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Hot tub was nice too; hot and ready for us when we arrived. Other minor small complaints were corroded batteries in the downstairs tv remote, requiring us to get up and physically turn off/on the tv (the horror ;-)), and no batteries in the 2 flashlights in the bathroom. Funny story - we were enjoying the hot tub but hearing wildlife moving in the trees and wanted to just see what was out there, but since the flashlights didn't work and there were no outside lights on that side of the cabin...we decided we were pruny enough and moved our fun back inside! Also, we lost power our first morning. There had been considerable rain and we assume trees or limbs came down on a line. It was restored within less than 3 hours; not a complaint, can't be helped. With all that detail, I would say definitely would stay here again. Though not in winter as I'm not sure we'd have made it up to the cabin in our rental Nissan. Maybe with 4 wheel drive.
