The most adorable place in a perfect spot on Grand Lake. The house was even better than the pics or descriptions. It had everything we needed. We've stayed in a lot of homes and this was stocked with all the essentials & then some. Which we really appreciate it! The owner was readily Available to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend the Sunkissed Cottage!
This wonderful cottage was more than we anticipated. Sits on a hill to overlook lake and sunrises. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the front deck and spent many hours reading and listening to the waves just a few feet away.
Tony, our host was the best. Not only was he available for our needs (that were few) but went far beyond as to provide us access to wonderful fresh flowers grown nearby. I would highly recommend this cottage and we can't wait to come back again.
I have stayed at many, many cottages at Grand Lake over the years, and this cottage was among the best; extremely clean, modernized, and well-equipped, and everything works! There is a very nice deck overlooking the lake for relaxation with a view. There is also a very nice, large gas grill, which we used several times. There are also two well-maintained docks available to renters. It was windy and very rough on the lake for most of the week, so it was an additional bonus that Tony was kind enough to allow me the use of his hoist to keep my boat out of the rough water when not in use. There are also kayaks available, if you're so inclined. Tony is very affable, friendly, and attentive to your needs. Communication was excellent. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend, and will likely return again.
Beautiful, large, clean cottage on Grand Lake with great fishing, close to hiking spots, Lake Huron, and downtown. Host is fabulous. Boat just right for fishing. Have stayed here many times and hope to again!
This property was the perfect mix of remote and quick access to activities. It was very peaceful, very scenic, and Presque Isle is an amazing little town with very friendly people.
Cottage is in a wonderful location on Grand Lake. The property is clean, beautiful and has all the amenities we need. Fishing is always great. Host Tony is always welcoming and responsive to questions/needs. All around a wonderful vacation rental!
Sunkissed Cottage is top-notch: super clean, in a great location, newly remodeled, has everything you need. This is not one of those kitschy places and doesn’t have a zillion notes taped to the walls - I felt like I was borrowing a friend’s awesome cottage. The host, Tony, left a short note with basic cottage, dining and activities, and contact info in case I needed anything - which I didn’t because it was all there. I can’t think of a single improvement. I loved it and hope to return.
Sunkissed Cottage is a beautifully kept property located at a perfect location on Grand Lake for fishing, relaxing, and short trips to tons of local hiking/outdoor activities. Owner Tony is wonderful. We have had fantastic vacation. Highly recommended!
A little slice of Heaven! There are no words, our second year at Sunkissed Cottage was as amazing as the first year! The weather was perfect, the lake views were stunning and the cottage is perfect for a small family vacation!!
The hosts are accommodating, and accessible at a moment's notice. Although, They have thought of everything, so there is no need to reach out. The cottage is always clean and stocked with all the essentials for a memorable vacation.
Kayaking in the morning, relaxing in my hammock (we brought a portable camping hammock) between two birch trees with a beautiful view of the lake, and smores by the fire pit to finish the day. CAN'T BE BEAT! We hope to continue visiting for many years to come!
My parents, brother, and myself stayed at this property for vacation last week and loved it! We had bonfires and enjoyed the full kitchen when preparing dinners for several other family members around the area. My dad and I went kayaking! It was also a quick drive for me to spend a day on Mackinaw Island! We plan to return next year
We had such a wonderful stay, and so much to rave about. Tony was the best host we have ever experienced. So responsive, helpful, and every detail was perfect. We also loved the location. So peaceful, beautiful sunrises, and such a great spot for all of the fun toys. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend. The house was better than advertised, very clean, and too much to mention.
Sun-kissed cottage was all we expected and then some. Everything was clean, well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake. Although we did not use them, kayaks were available. The property owner contacted us to be sure everything was okay. Location was perfect, within 20 min of Alpena and Rogers City and 1 1/2 hours from Mackinaw. Contact-less check-in and check-out was appreciated because of the virus. Great overall place and would stay again.
Very peaceful, calming and excellent cabin/cottage. The owners think of the tiniest details to make your stay more comfortable and see to your every need. Wonderful place...p.s. I usually don't do reviews but this place warrants it!!! Thanks Tony and Steph!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks at Sunkissed Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great views of the lake from the open kitchen/living room. Tony was an outstanding and gracious host--communication was easy. We appreciated having access to the variety of boats that were available and not having to car-top our own kayaks for a change. Enjoyed the fire pit and stargazing on clear nights. Highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to book it again!
Beautiful, clean, and newly renovated cottage in a convenient location on Grand Lake with a lovely view. Owner Tony was very friendly and responsive. Great fishing with use of the nicely equipped and maintained Lund Laker. Sunkissed Cottage is an all-around a fantastic vacation spot! Highly recommended!

Good size cottage on a beautiful lake
Upon arrival, the cottage was clean and obviously newly remodeled. Checking in was a breeze. We had a wonderful time using the space, kayaks, and fire pit. Tony was easy to communicate with and was there for help if we needed it. Grand Lake is so beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the nice dock and in the water. The beach is rocks, so be aware and bring water shoes. I would have loved a sandy beach for the kids, but we still had a great time on the rocks. If you are not used to well water, pick up some bottled water before you head out to the lake. I would stay at Tony's place again and would highly recommend! Thanks for the memories!

Exceeded Expectations!
The pictures don't do this place justice. The house is really nice but we didn't spend too much time inside fortunately due to the spectacular weather. Tony was a gracious host and moved his personal boat so we could use the lift all week. It was awesome to be able to walk out to the dock and cruise the lake. Beautiful scenery from the deck including some bird and squirrel watching. We also used the fire pit every night with the abundant amount of wood supplied. Thanks again Tony!
