Kellie and Wyatt were excellent hosts - prompt responses to questions, check-in smooth, house truly felt like a home.Furnished with quality, beautiful furniture, every room was comfortable - soft beds, nice linens, plenty of throw blankets and pillows.....AND....provided sufficient supplies like towels (bath and pool), shampoo/conditioner and soaps, tissues, paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper....everything we needed. Heated salt-water pool, including pool toys, was perfect for our 6 grandchildren and the 5 adults that stayed. So many rooms and enough bathrooms! The pool table, pool and abundant games and books in the home provided evening entertainment for everyone. We would re-book in a heartbeat and will recommend this home to our friends.

About the host
Hosted by Kellie Llewellyn
We’re a family who loves spending time in Cape Coral and returning here as often as we can. Over the years, it’s become a place where we slow down, reconnect, and truly enjoy time together and we love being able to share that experience with others.
We’ve traveled a lot as a family, so when we decided to host, we set out to create the kind of place we would want to stay in: clean, comfortable, well-organized, and thoughtfully stocked. From the layout of the home to the little details like games, beach gear, and a welcoming space to gather, everything was chosen with families and longer stays in mind.
We know how important it is to feel settled quickly when you arrive, especially when traveling with kids or a group. Our goal is to make your stay feel easy from the moment you walk in, whether that means having the basics covered, clear communication, or being available if questions come up.
Cape Coral is one of our favorite places to relax, enjoy the water, and make memories together, and we hope our home can be part of that experience for you as well. We take pride in being responsive hosts and are always happy to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Why they chose this property
We love the Yacht Club area because it feels like the heart of Cape Coral. It has a classic waterfront vibe, a strong sense of community, and a laid-back energy that keeps drawing us back every time we’re here.
One of the biggest reasons we love this location is its proximity to the Yacht Club Community Park, which is home to the only public beach in Cape Coral. While it’s not a short walk from our house (it’s about two miles), it’s an easy drive or bike ride and a place we visit often. We love having a beach option so close without needing to leave Cape Coral or plan a full day trip.
We’re also excited about the renovations happening in the Yacht Club area and the future rebuilding of the Boat House restaurant. It’s an area with a lot of history that’s being thoughtfully refreshed, and we love watching it continue to grow while still keeping its original charm.
This neighborhood offers the perfect balance for us quiet residential streets, canal access, and easy access to restaurants, stores, and waterfront spots. It feels relaxed and livable, not touristy, which is exactly what we look for when we travel. That combination is what made us fall in love with this area and why we’re so happy to share a home here with our guests.
What makes this property unique
What makes our home unique is how intentionally it’s set up for families and longer stays, not just quick getaways. This isn’t a generic vacation rental it’s a place we use ourselves, and we’ve outfitted it with the goal of making it feel comfortable, practical, and easy from the moment you arrive.
The private screened-in pool and lanai are a big part of that. It’s a space where kids can swim safely, adults can relax, and everyone can enjoy time together without leaving the house. Being on a freshwater canal with a private dock adds another layer of enjoyment, whether that’s fishing, kayaking, or simply watching the water in the evenings.
Inside, the layout works well for groups. There’s room to spread out, shared spaces to gather, and thoughtful touches throughout from a fully stocked kitchen and coffee station to games, beach gear, and extras that help you settle in quickly. We’ve tried to think through the things that actually make a stay smoother, especially when traveling with kids or multiple generations.
The location is another standout. We’re in the Yacht Club area, close to the only public beach in Cape Coral, waterfront parks, and everyday conveniences, while still tucked into a quiet neighborhood that feels relaxed and livable.
Overall, what makes our property unique is the combination of location, layout, and intention. It’s a home designed to be enjoyed, not just stayed in and that’s exactly how we hope our guests experience it.
