The property had a very interesting look. Very unusual foam wall paper squares placed randomly on the walls and even in the bath tub. It was also very dirty. The counter tops had been wiped with a dirty towel which left streaks all over. In one of the baths there wss a dirty wash cloth over the cabinet door. The toilet seats looked dirty with flower decals half worn off on them. One bedroom had someone's used contact lens on the bed stand. The beds were very old and wornout. There was a dirty paper towel tucked under one armrest of a couch. The other couch was missing most of its back cushions. The beds were also not queen beds as stated rather doubles and a single. Holes in the walls had been spray painted rather touched up with wall paint. The colors were similar but different. The bath soap and shampoo was not in the bathrooms rather stored in the hall closet. They expected you to find it. The towels were thrown on chairs and beds several had stains on them. I did not see a wash cloth. After checking for wash clothes in the laundry I found three trash bags full of dirty laudry. The bullnose on the stairs was unsafe it had at least a quarter inch lip. The only light switch for the stairs on this four story walkup was by the entry door for the bottom two floors. We left the property after one night of a five night stay. Save money, DO NO RENT THIS PROPERTY. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY FOR THE NIGHTS WE REFUSED TO STAY HERE. Photos blocked from being added.

The place had clearly not been cleaned since previous use (trash not emptied, hair in the bathtub, personal items left on the nightstand, etc.), the description was inaccurate (no queen beds, only two doubles and a single), and there were over 50 steps up several flights of stairs to get to the bedroom level. The carpeting had not been vacuumed. The bedding had not been replaced since last use (crumbs found in some), it smelled strongly of body odor, and was cheap (scratchy) and old, with pilling in the fabric. The towels were also old, mismatched, and not plentiful enough; there were no hand towels. The walls and ceilings had several visible areas of water and other damage, and squares of different kinds of wallpaper were randomly stuck on the walls in a jumbled way. Framed artwork on the walls was irregularly hung, with most pieces hanging quite crookedly. The stairs were cheaply made, a couple were coming apart, and most had been taped over, leaving a messy appearance. At the entrances to some of the rooms from the upstairs hallway, there were very sharp things, possibly carpet tacks, sticking up.The two sofas did not have all their cushions and some cushions were mismatched. The main bedroom curtain panels were of different lengths. And there were odd, childish decals on the walls and notably in the sinks; at least one was peeling up from the water. One morning an exterminator entered the house without warning. The hosts said they would return to clean but hadn’t.
